The providers are terrific and the place was clean and comfortable for my sleep study. If you need CPAP supplies, I highly recommend not using them. They are super inconsistent about sending them and I don't think I've ever once had a voicemail returned from this place so you just have to keep calling until you get someone (and even then you may have to keep calling). I'm not sure if they are just understaffed, have tons of turnover or are disorganized, but the front office experience is pretty frustrating. Dr. Shim and Mr. Wiese are fantastic though so if you can tolerate the front office frustration, I'd recommend the clinic.
Do not recommend!!! Find a different doctor and sleep center for help. I had a friend go here a week ago after visiting Dr. Shimm and it was the most awful experience. The staff that work at night are abrupt, rude, absent and unhelpful. The cleanliness of the office should be reviewed by the Oregon Department Health, and lastly when my friend has issues, Rhonda the office manager was very rude and dismissive. Dr. Shimm needs to do better with staffing and with the care he advises for his patients. STAY AWAY FROM THE CENTER
I went in for my consultation, and Dr. Shim was very understanding of my concerns and steps I had already been taking to better my sleep. I never thought I could have chronic insomnia, but since he prescribed doxipen to help me stay asleep all night, it has been a big change in how I feel when I wake up! Everyone in the office is very nice and wants to help in any way possible.
The staff was very helpful & courteous. I got the best nights sleep on their wonderful mattress & Dr Shim explained everything very well. Overall what started as something unknown & uncomfortable ended up being a very pleasant & educational experience.
Just had my 1st overnight sleep study. I am very pleased. The rooms are furnished and very cozy. There is a fan as well as a heater in each room. There is a very comfy bed in each room. As well as a cozy recliner in each room. The clinic is wheelchair accessible. All sleep study rooms are wheelchair accessible. Dr. Shim is the best Sleep Doctor in Salem. My overnight sleep specialist attendant, Courtney was professional, very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Looking forward to getting my results next week.
