Today I was honored to have Arielle J. Perez MD and her wonderful staff perform a flawless surgery on me. The entire process from the initial consultation to recovery was exceptional. There is no way to describe this experience other than perfection. Doctor Perez has a very calming, and compassionate demeanor, which put me instantly at ease, and gave me full confidence going into the operating room. Dr Perez is an incredible blessing, and asset to Riverbend and our community. I had put off this surgery for over a decade, but my condition worsened so much that I could not function. Dr. Perez and her team have given me a new lease on life. My softball sized hernia was repaired in a room that looked like an alien spacecraft. It was spotless, cooled, brightly lit, filled with computers, monitors and a cutting edge robot assisted surgery doohickey. It was absolutely amazing to behold. When I was wheeled in, and saw the operating room, I could not stop smiling. I knew I had the best Doctor, and the best facility, there was no doubt in my mind that I was in good hands. The surgery took a bit under 3 hours. We left home at 1030, and were back at 1900. Their system is incredibly efficient each step of the way. Thank you all, I am very happy and deeply grateful for what you have done for me and my family.
The nurses ,and doctors at Riverbend Peace health, Medical Center have helped me so much in the last three years. I have been there several times because of my breathing ,and other times for odds and ends type, medical concerns. They are just wonderful. The nurses are totally helpful ,and awesome. They work so hard to make sure you’re comfortable, even through the time when I was in there where we couldn’t have visitors. They tried to make me feel at home. The doctors are great. They saved my life once, I am forever in all their debt . GOD BLESS THEM.
