I accompanied my best friend for an outpatient procedure on 12/8/2025. We arrived on time and she was taken back as scheduled. However, there were issues during the post-op assessment. When my friend explained that she had already addressed the concern that was delaying the endoscopy, the anesthesiologist, Michael S. Fisher, became combative and judgmental. Another physician, Bisher Abdullah, also raised his voice at both of us. When we were simply trying to understand why the procedure could not continue, both physicians responded with hostility and impatience. At one point, my friend gently lifted the adhesive around her catheter—not removing it, only loosening the tape because of previous painful experiences—and clearly communicated this. Despite that, Mr. Fisher began yelling at her again. The level of disrespect and lack of professional bedside manner we experienced was shocking. My friend was not treated with the dignity and care that patients deserve. If possible, I strongly recommend seeking treatment elsewhere, as our encounter with these physicians was rude, dismissive, and entirely unprofessional.
I ended up in the emergency room yesterday. Im going to keep the details private, but I showed up to urgent care desk telling the women what happened. She called the er to let them know and got me in a wheel chair and got me to the er right away to give them my name and got me a room right away to talk to me and help me and run tests to make sure I was ok. Everyone was so compassionate and caring and just absolutely phenomenal for the unfortunate situation I was in.
I went to urgent care because of diverticulightes which I have delt with for years. Usually I just get antibiotics. They said they were worried about it rupturing, so I had to go to the ER, now if it ruptured it's an emergency surgery. So why did they make me wait so long? I proceeded to wait in the ER for 3 hours. Without even examining me, the Doctor finally came in. After I heard him talking to someone else about a story and say "I have to see this patient ill tell youl the rest later"! He was there for literally a couple of minutes. And I told him I did not want an X-ray. He proceeded to tell me he was not going give me anbiotics. To which I said fine, I'll go to my doctor at the next possible time. I had to sign a waiver saying they would not be responsible if I ruptured. This is a second bad experience that I've had at this hospital and my wife had one bad experience. Yesterday I received a bill for over 2000 dollars! For what? waiting 3 hours and spending a couple of minutes with a doctor who did not examine me!? NEVER WILL I GO HEAR AGAIN! THE LAST BAD REVIEW.I LEFT IT SAID TO CALL THIS NUMBER AND NOTHING WAS RESOLVED SO PLEASE DON'T ASK ME TO CALL SOMEONE AGAIN! I did get the antibiotics that I desperately needed, diveticulitis will lead to your death if not treated, i guess sumit pacific doesn't care about helping people just their bottom line, it's all about the money!
Brought my daughter in to get checked out in the ER as she was running a really high fever and having a possible reaction to one of her vaccines. The quality of care that she received was absolutely awful, not only do they take just as long as grays harbor hospital to get you seen but the waiting room is a mess! A tiny little room that’s no bigger than a small bedroom crammed with people who are ill or in a wheelchair. Definitely not sustainable at all and I certainly was uncomfortable with my baby being less than 1ft away from other patients who may possibly be sick. They didn’t even bother to take my daughter into another room, rather they checked her out in the waiting room and then told me to wait another hour to get discharge paper work that they could’ve sent electronically through my chart! SKIP going here and head up to St. Pete’s, as a healthcare worker I can understand that it’s a fast paced and stressful environment but between the construction going on and the staffing being all over the place, it’s not better than going to grays harbor.
I waited two months for an appointment. The day of my appointment I took time off work to drive to the clinic. I received no paperwork, but ended up at the Elma clinic. I checked in at the office to be told that I was across the parking lot on the third floor. I was 15 minutes early before my appointment time. I get up to the third floor to be told by the receptionist that my appointment is actually in the MCcleary Clinic. I looked at her and said I will be past my appointment time. She said I will send a message to that clinic to let them know you were on your way. I raced to the McCleary clinic and was 11 minutes past my appointment. I also made a phone call on my way to let them know I was coming. When I got there, the receptionist looked at me and said she will go back and talk to the doctor to see if she will take me. I had a 9 minute le way time that a Dr will wait. She comes back out of the front and tells me unfortunately I need to reschedule. ( I was Two Minutes outside of my 9 minute tardy allowance) I chose not to reschedule and I wont be coming back. I wouldn’t of minded even waiting longer if I needed to just to be seen but was not even given that option. I was beyond upset leaving, as I have taken time off, a message was sent and I made a phone call and was still turned away anyway. Today I receive a letter in the mail telling me I am considered a no show appointment. Im not sure how I can be a NO SHOW when the provider denied me standing in the lobby. A COMPLETE waste of my time. Even better for them to let me know I was a “ no show” ( eye roll )
