I had a sleep test done and I was recommended to get a CPAP machine through Procare. To make a long story short I was having problems with my machine. I was asked to come in and bring my machine. They coudnt get it to download and they wanted me to take my machine back to Procare have Procare download it and get all the information then come back to the sleep center. I'm sorry but I'm a patient, I shouldn't have to do that leg work and go back and forth between the 2 facilities. Wasilla Sleep Center should be staying in touch with or communicating with the medical company that dispenses the machines. I think that is so unprofessional to expect the patient to take their CPAP machine and go back and forth between them and the medical facility where they got there machine from. I returned my machine and I don't plan on doing business with the wasilla sleep center again.
After getting an in person sleep study my family member was issued a CPAP machine. Over a year later we still don’t have a mask for him that doesn’t cause sores. They charge a flat rate that supposedly covers masks and filters, however they don’t send them and keep billing both insurance and the customer. Not a single follow up with the doctor even though there should have been one. They do not return phone calls or emails. This is a racket that has not improved quality of life, sleep or general irritation. I would go with any other clinic at this point in time. We have dealt with the Wasilla location for the physical study and the Anchorage office for the actual machine. Run, don’t just walk, away from this company.
Very respectful and informative staff; night study was comfortable and the tech showed me some of the raw data to explain what was being recorded. I met with the ANP before and after the study in a timely manner. Great experience.
I had my sleep study done on 5/19, I had to wait till 6/21 to see the sleep study ANP to talk about the results, I was told it would take 2 days to get the prescription written and have the Dr to sign off and then I would have my prescription sent in for insurance approval. Well it's now 7/15 and I still haven't even had the prescription signed off on! I've called 3 times and been told the same thing. The Drs doing his travels in the bush and is having trouble getting his wifi to work.... Bullcrap! This should have been done before he even left! I'm beyond furious. I get told I will get called back but they never do. Don't ever waste your time or money with Wasilla Sleep Center.
