Well, after reading the bad reviews, I am CONVINCED this medical practice has major concerns with its non-clinical staff member(s). I placed several calls to speak with the office manager "Raju" since 10/28, with today being the most recent call at approximately 10:45am est. I was informed by the operator saying " if he chooses to call me back, he will" - absolutely unbelievable. I had to resort to calling the Pittsburgh corporate offices. Though Tamra Minnier is the VP of media relations, an email was left to please forward my the information to the customer relations at corporate.
If I can give less than a star I would. I’m highly disappointed in the service. Today my son had a follow up appointment for which I got multiple reminders via text, phone calls and portal. We show up for our appointment 15 minutes as required, get all checked in do signatures and all the formalities which took about 10 minutes. We wait in the waiting area for about 40 minutes. I go and ask the front desk person if we were forgotten because we’ve been waiting for over 40 minutes at this point . She asked me patients name and then she tells me he was supposed to be rescheduled because the Dr is not even in the office today . What was all that about, first of fall no phone calls were made regarding that and no communication was done then they checked me in the office how incompetence of them. Highly disappointed and would not recommend anyone to this place who does not value your time .
My wife had a 4 PM appointment today and we encountered standstill traffic on the way. We attempt to call but she was on hold with no one picking up the phone for 14 minutes. She arrived for her appointment at 4:08 but the doctor and staff had already left for the day. She has been having serious headaches for nearly 2 months. They finally answered the second phone call only to be scolded by some guy named Mike. Nasty man. He argued with her over the phone telling her it was her problem for being late. He had her in tears. No compassion. Very disrespectful. Even if we had arrived exactly at 4PM they would not have been out of here by 4:08. Oh and by the way her headache is worse now. This place sucks. I would have given it a negative score if possible. The cardiologist staff that work in the same space were very concerned but there was nothing they could do since Dr. Levri and his staff only use the same space. The cardiologist staff person stated that there policy was to wait at least 15 minutes for a patient running late. I guess whatever Dr. Levri and staff had to do at 4PM was much more important than my wife's health. I guess with the days getting shorter it's hard to get those 18 holes in if you wait for those pesky patients with potentially serious health conditions who may be a few minutes late. PS: Their website said that their Thursday hours are until 4:30 PM....
Dr Anwar was not helpful in any way. It seems that the practice has a policy that they would not transfer care to another doctor. Even though there are other doctors in the practice. I spoke with the office manager and the director. Both of which were no help what so ever. The office manager even claimed that he was humiliated because I asked him if he understood english. Ever time I said no to him he failed to understand those words. Business manager did not care either. Patients are just a number.
They don't care about their patients only the money. N if you want a copy of your medical records then they send it to a third party where anybody and everybody can see your medical records which I'm pretty sure that is a big No-No.
