Dr Upadya is spot on!! She diagnosed my husband’s lung cancer and then years later diagnosed mine!!! She is brilliant and quick to send you where you need. She sent me to Moffitt in Tampa for surgery and I am so grateful for her care and concern. Kind, considerate and makes you feel good even if the diagnoses isn’t the best!!! She’s been my go to for years and I will not see anyone but her. She checks and double checks.. you are a person here not a number.
BEWARE! Reception was told patient had Florida Blue plan at the time the appointment was made. They did not bother to ask, and it turned out the they don’t accept Florida Blue SELECT. Wasted trip, and will now have to wait weeks if not months to see another doctor. Not right!!!
I went to see Dr. Upadaya for my first visit and was pleasantly surprised how quickly I was taken back. She was very thorough, kind, and has a warm personality. I didn't feel rushed and she explained and reviewed history and her recommendations! I definitely recommend her as a doctor!!
A really great Dr.!! and a very professional staff! She has a great sense of humor and is thorough, professional and really knows her job. I'm very confident in her abilities and very happy to have been referred to her. I built and owned a medical park for years and know a good Dr. or a not so good when I see and interact with one. Highly recommend.
