Temporarily Closed? No word to the patients or even a message left on your answering machine? Poor business practices here as well as 90% of doctors and doctors offices in Lufkin. This and many other reasons is why I am moving my mom to Houston so she can receive the medical care she pays for.

Dr Capellan took excellent care of my husband. He was highly recommended to us when we were seeking another pulmonologist. We could not have been more pleased. We had complete trust in him. He was caring, took time to honestly answer any questions, and was very personable. Responses to emergencies were immediate, from Dr Capellan as well as his staff. I highly recommend Dr Capellan to anyone seeking a pulmonologist

Would give a zero if I could. Was given a referral by ER. Called the location personally advised if information, even though I had the ERs drs referrals in hand was told couldn't even talk to me unless my primary Dr sent referral. Then jennifer or someone would call me back. Seen my Dr got 2 ND referral called them back as they never called me. Btw I have excellent insurance, I called them they said absolutely I can see any Dr, no referral needed.. this time phone message said pretty much through the day they were closed. Asked my Dr what was going on my aunt had an appointment also with her, she advised unfortunately a lot of the in town drs, refused to see patients and was very frustrating as referrals are because patients need to be seen. My aunt has a different lung dr, though the staff is awful at least that dr still sees patients, and it's out of town. So I took a different referral for that dr. Because why support someone who claims to be a Dr yet it takes a week later before anyone wants to call me back then wants to do teledoc? For lung specialist? My phone isn't going to let you hear my lung lobes, I can mask quit well. When talking, really a week later teledoc. With a completely empty parking lot. Nope not encouraging bad medicine!. Thought the pandemic was the issue... empty e parking lot everday except the black tahoe in the back withbwith others, then still wouldn't answer the phones!!!! No like I said a zero if I could. Anyone in immediate danger could have died waiting on them to screen if they ever wanted to see them. Find someone who still practicing medicine. This one's given up.
