The NP and the assistant who've been "managing" my care can't seem to figure out how to submit a request to an insurance company. It's been 4+ weeks, and everyone has the request except my insurance company. They mailed it to me first, like I could submit it! Then asked for fax numbers for the vendor and my ins. That is their job. There's a lack of communication between the NP, her assistant, and patients. It's beyond frustrating they can't even figure out how to do something I would think is quite routine in a doctor's office. When I asked to speak with my doctor, they told me doctor's don't see patients after the initial assessment.

Doctor was apathetic when I brought up my concerns. Nobody communicated with me on any of the details about my sleep study. Took months to get in with them just for my appointment to last less than 5 minutes with a doctor who barely listened and was dismissive.

The office staff members at this location are wonderful. I've had mostly good experiences with the nurses, but whoever was serving as Dr. Heikal's medical assistant was the worst medical employee I've ever dealt with. She would never return communications or calls. She neglected to handle important matters. I don't know if she's still there, but she is not patient-oriented. I'm now seeing Dr. Dabboussi as a sleep specialist. I saw him once, about a month ago. I don't recommend him as a doctor if you want someone to take your sleep issues seriously. I was in CBT (therapy) for over two years before being recommended for a sleep study, and the results of the sleep study were not at all what I expected. I stopped therapy at the beginning of this year due to many reasons - including that I felt I had refined all of the tools and mechanisms that could potentially help me. I've been through therapy multiple times (since age fourteen). Anyways, I was just getting established and figuring out a treatment plan with Dr. Heikal, and he left. I was transferred to Dr. Dabboussi. I saw him, and he neglected to acknowledge everything that came before my visit with him. He treated me like a completely new patient instead of just a patient who was new to him. He offered to set me up with therapy and gave me handouts to "help" with my sleep issues. I already had the handouts from therapy that I attended before. I left the office completely dissatisfied and am actively trying to find a new provider. I am true to Community as my health network of choice, but I am willing to go outside of Community's resources if it means getting a sleep specialist who takes me seriously. On top of the poor office experience, where Dr. Dabboussi constantly mixed-up his words & got things flip-flopped, he put through my visit notes - and they were a complete disaster. He put that I was there to be treated for sleep apnea, which I don't even have. He put that I declined to get set up with the MedSafe program... but Dr. Heikal was establishing me on a medication and wanted to see if I wanted to stick with it before referring me over. He put that I said I feel well-rested in the morning (when I told him the complete opposite). He said he discussed relaxation techniques with me - which he didn't. He truly didn't seem sincere or personable about my sleep issues and care for such. I am actively trying to seek treatment elsewhere and would not recommend Dr. Dabboussi to anyone, no matter if the sleep problems are big or small. Thanks for reading my (long) review. Have a great day!

It is poor customer service indeed, that makes this veteran want to go back to the V.A. hospital that nearly killed me with their apathy and unwillingness to listen. Finding that the staff of the Community Sleep Specialists are not any better. So once you are in their care, you have to have an annual check-up to get approved for re-supply of your CPAP facemasks, tubing, etc. Well, they, the people at the office cancelled my appointment. This being my busiest time of year, I had to wait until after that to see them in May. Well, that is too late for the annual review and as such, they cancelled me at Dr. Roesner's office but I am the one that pays the price of non-compliance even though I use this dang thing EVERY night. I've had it with poor service. I would NOT recommend you see anyone located in this office. I'd rather die in my sleep than have people who obviously DON'T care enough to be understanding and flexible to be the one's "caring" for me.

Initial consult was good. Doctor is knowledgeable and professional, unfortunately support staff is not. They refuse to answer the phone. Do not return messages either phone or mychart. So far left 4 messages over a week and have not got a return call or the prescription sent.
