It was much better when it was at Memorial. I've never been treated so poorly by staff at Memorial as I was treated at the sleep disorder center. You have to go to sleep the second you get there. You're not allowed an extra blanket or at least I wasn't. You can't go to the bathroom when you first get up. You have to wait until they take all 35 wires off of you and clean them before you're allowed to go to the bathroom. Why I couldn't tell you. I think it was just the nasty technician who was helping me. There's a TV in the room but you're not allowed to watch it while you fall asleep for 20 minutes. No. As soon as she leaves the room it has to be off. You're not allowed to have your phone on. I haven't gone to bed at 8:00 since I was 5 years old. If you're going to torture me let me know in advance because next time you need to pay me for such garbage. She was just a nasty person from the second I got there. I thought about leaving the minute I got there. I wish I had done just exactly that. But this is when you go from having professionals at a hospital to technicians that can be just about anybody on the street with no experienced and no professional behavior.
Very nice office/people and Dr. Dothager was great. He was very personable and went above and beyond to answer questions and explain everything. I left without any confusion about what was going on.
Dr Jamous knows what he is talking about. Upfront and to the point. Excellent care.
