This has to be one of the worst doctor’s offices I’ve ever had to deal with. The actual physician is great but scheduling is a nightmare (seems as if these are outsourced calls. Most recent call I could barely hear the guy because there was so much background noise). Scheduled an appointment 3 months ago and just called to follow up since I never received a phone call letting me know I had an appointment today, to find out that appointment was never entered into their system. Update: this is still the worst doctors office that I have ever been to. DO NOT COME HERE. If you do anything today, schedule your appointment at a different practice. Today they were over an hour behind schedule, never mentioned/called to let me know about this before coming/while checking in. Then proceed to let me know they had a different appointment time down for me, even though I received an email and call a day before confirming my time. In addition to this I witnessed them turn people away and make them reschedule appointments for being late. These people had called to let them know about this (but since they work through a call center) this was inaccurate information and this was never communicated to the actual doctors office.

I try to not leave negative reviews, as this world is already negative enough as it is, and I try to be encouraging whenever I can. Regretfully, I must make an exception with Texas Allergy and Breathing Centers, 3900 American Dr, Ste 203 Plano, TX 75075. My healthcare provider referred me to their facility in order to address a potential sleep disorder. On November 14, 2023, Texas Allergy and Breathing Centers scheduled my appointment for December 1, 2023. On November 27th, they called my wife's cell phone number and told her they were rescheduling my appointment for December 8th. I thought it was odd that they called my wife instead of me, so I thought my healthcare representative must have given them my wife's "emergency contact" number by mistake instead of my phone number. However, when I brought this to her attention, she confirmed that she had given them my cell phone number, and she suggested that I give Texas Allergy and Breathing Centers a call to make certain they only call MY cell phone number, not my wife's. Sadly, I was NEVER able to get through whenever I tried calling (and I tried for days, several times during business hours). The outbound message states, "We're sorry we missed your call. Our staff is busy assisting other patients at this time ...." After several days of trying to get through, I explained my frustrations to my healthcare representative, including how/why their not answering their phones is indicative of other (as yet unforeseen) underlying concerns. She understood my concern, and she very apologetically asked if I would like for her to refer me to a different provider. I decided to take her up on the offer, and I am now scheduled with another facility. I called to cancel my appointment with Texas Allergy and Breathing Centers, but (of course) I had to settle with leaving them a voice message. Incredibly, Texas Allergy and Breathing Centers ALSO doesn't check their voice messages because they called my wife's cell again on the day of my appointment to see why I wasn't there. This time my wife was at home with me when they called, and she handed me her phone so I personally expressed my frustrations to the representative. When I explained that I had tried and tried to reach them, but was only able to leave voice messages, the representative became defensive, stating that he's there from 8:00 to 5:00 PM and always answers the phone. He even had me confirm that I had been calling the correct number (which I had been doing). He did not acknowledge any shortcomings on their end at all. I remain appalled at their level of service, or shall I say lack thereof. Sadly, my only negative review of any medical facility is for one at which I have never been a patient. July 3, 2024 update: This same office called me again in June 2024 to see if I wanted to schedule an appointment. I informed them that I am currently under the care of another provider.

This place is horrible! This place was referred by my dad family doctor. I called this place to make an appointment for my 72 years old dad for Wednesday 9/20 @ 10. They called and reschedule him for Thursday 9/21 then called again to canceled him again and reschedule for October- 6 even clearly on the phone my dad told them that he won't be going there because of how unprofessional they already are with cancelling and reschedule him multiple time. My dad live in Dallas by himself and was paying someone to take him to the appointment, screwed up their work schedule because this practice keeps cancelling. Very inconsiderate of patient's time and schedule. Reading at other reviews seems like they have the same issues. Their front desk is also rude! Please stay away from this practice. They don't value your time!!

As with most medical appointments that I have been through in my life, there are unforeseen delays that can cause patients to wait longer than anticipated. This office is the biggest offender in my experience, waiting past my appointment time with every visit. Pleasant and helpful as the staff can be, yesterday I was late 18 minutes for my appointment. I was told after driving for an hour to this in person visit that they would have to reschedule me. I responded with the appropriate surprise and disgust that this office has no problem wasting the time of their patients, yet takes this stance when the situation is reversed. It is highly likely that had I been on time/early I would still have been waiting. Additionally when I tried to call them, to let them know I would be late, I got voicemail.

I scheduled my first appointment with the Plano Office. They called and cancelled and reschedules me saying they were closing that day. 2nd appointment exact same thing happened. Then I was told the only time I could get my injections in that office would be Mondays and Wednesday from 8-845. When I finally got my first injection last Monday they told me they would only be open on Wednesday afternoons. Today I had an appointment at 8:15, they were not even open. Finally, one of the office staff arrived and she called someone on her cell phone. They told her they would be there at 8:50 to open. No one bothered to call me and it is now 10:15. I will never go back to that office. How can you run a business like that?????????????
