My mother was on the wait list for a CPAP machine for over a year. She kept calling and they told her she needs to do the whole sleep study again for their own mess ups. Not sure why when she has the paperwork stating she needs the machine.. they are giving her the runaround. Will change the review when this matter gets resolved.
If you need a sleep study done, do NOT go here. Their staff members are extremely rude and incompetent due to the following reasons: 1.) They hang up on you without warning and often after they put you on hold. 2.) They take at least 20 minutes to find a doctor's order and clinical notes sent to them more than a week ago. 3.) The staff members have no idea what they are doing; they first tell you that there are available appointments on certain days and times, but then they later on tell you that they are not available. 4.) Despite multiple attempts to schedule an appointment and their many appointment changes and cancellations, they are not flexible at all. They will make you wait on the phone for up to an hour and then give you appointment times that do not work for your school or work schedule, just so they can cancel it later and say that it wasn't available after you had already made arrangements. In other words, you are expected to show all the flexibility and understanding in the world, but they will not do the same for you. 5.) You can tell just from the mocking tone of voice that they use and their unacceptable level of disrespect, the representatives/schedulers do not want to do any work and are irritated by your call. This happened to me multiple times even though I spoke with different representatives each time. Tldr; do NOT try to schedule anything with Advocate Sleep Disorders Centers, they don't have even an ounce of professionalism or respect, will waste your time and efforts, and ridicule you regardless of which representative you speak with. This is NOT just one problematic employee! All of the staff I interacted with there (4 at least) on different occasions behave in the similar disgraceful manner described above.
Update: The absolute worst business to deal with. Their staff are extremely rude and hung up in my face while I was talking as I’m asking to speak to someone else that could help because she was no help. Original: How do you run a business with such horrific customer service? - i should not have to call over 3 times and get disconnected after waiting on hold for so long!!! This is very unprofessional as it seems like the employees are picking up the phone and hanging it up right away. This is so frustrating.
horrible scheduling and phone etiquette. multiple attempts to contact this sleep center resulted in 4+ disconnected calls after waiting on hold for 10 minutes. This was after not being given results for an at home sleep study over a week ago. results to be forwarded in 1-2 days. Clearly not addressing the needs of the patient nor showing a professional manner for treating a patient.
