Very similar experience to others: they insisted on charging in full up front without running any of my stuff through my insurance, gave nonsensical estimates for what my insurance would cover, lied about contacting my insurance, overcharged copays (while then charging for additional items during the visits along with the copay... who even does that?) and set up a telemedicine call I had to pay ($123!!) for in advance ot access and then they failed to connect it. I called my insurance while waiting for the to figure that one out and BCBS said they had never seen anyone handle billing this way; it was either gross incompetence or willful malfeasance: they exceed contractual limitations on all services, double dipped copays and charges (including charging $40 for a copay and $413 for a sleep study for one visit... then the bill showed the study was $373, but they charged an additional copay for the study on top of the copay for the visit), submitted claims under the wrong category (take home sleep study was a routine office visit, for instance) and misreported charge amounts... It took three months for them to complete an account review and reimburse me ~$620. The sum total of our interactions were three months wait for an appointment, then a thirty minute appointment that was 23 minutes in the waiting room then "yeah, your doctor thinks you have sleep apnea. Come back in a couple weeks and we'll give you a thing to wear on your finger overnight. That will be $40." a phone call saying my insurance wouldn't cover the sleep study until I used up my deductible, and a visit consisting of "here's a piece of trash to wear on your finger. Uhhhh.... like, you haven't used up your collectible yet or something? So, yeah... Make sure you put it on right or it will be another $453 to retake the test, plus copay to set it up. Did I mention today's visit is $453?" a phone call where I told them I wasn't seeing any of the charges going to my insurance that they just put me on hold for then hung up on me, then "Pay us $123 to connect your call. Call failed. Hold on, the doc is just going to call your cell phone. Thanks for your payment" and finally "yup, your doctor was right. That will be a $40 copay and somebody will call you or email you or something about a machine or whatever... did I charge you for this yet? Anyway, take care." Complete joke. The fifteen minutes with the actual Resmed guys was better in every respect than four months of suffering through MWSM's incompetence. Didn't cost me a dime, either. Strongest possible "avoid at all costs."

Had a good experience everyone i interacted with was very nice. Only giving 4 stars though cause the walls are super thin. I could hear one of the techs or other patients talk in the next room. Caroline was the tech that hooked me up and monitored me she was really nice and explained everything thoroughly.

Canceled my appointment because the insurance wouldn’t cover and they didn’t hotter to notify me. Didn’t try to file the insurance until the last minute either despite a 2 month wait for an appointment . They claim they left voice message, but there is no message i.n my box even though I still have voice mails sent before and after. Wasted 2 hours of my life driving there and dealing with it. Why spend many millions on my chart and epic if you’re not going to use it to have reliable communications?

I don't know why tricare keeps sending soldiers here. I called for a week straight and all I got was voicemail. At some point 10 mins before the closed someone picked up and claimed they didn't have anything. I spoke to tricare and they sent another fax. I call again for another week and finally get lucky and someone picked up and still claimed they have not received anything. This place is terrible with some really rude staff.

As an active duty soldier, I contacted the front desk. The representatives are totally rude and disrespectful. I was trying to explain my healthcare coverage and they told me that they don't have time to listen to me nor my insurance. I would not recommend coming to this facility. Their administrative and desk staff are totally rude and unappropriate. This is why many people don't choose Mary Washington as far as supporting their medical needs. Their support staff is horrible.
