Dr. O'Brien is the most thoughtful, thourough, and patient doctor. He listens intently, takes his time. Considers a bigger picture. Does not jump straight to med experimentation. If you show up prepared to be productive on your health he is the best partner to have in it. Most specialists don't even test for most things, or advocate for you with insurance. He's amazing and I'm thrilled to have him as my pulmonologist.
I recently was here for a pulmonary stress test. My debrief after the procedure was with Danielle Sovey, NP-BP. Her care and communication was exceptional. She was kind. Compassionate. Thorough. And professional. I will be well served by this practice. As an aside. Not sure how to explain. But as I say waiting. I was able to watch many employees come to the waiting area to get patients. As I observed. They all were so genuine and focused on each individual. Made me feel like they saw each as an individual and their care was genuine. A great thing. Congratulations to management because your people are mirroring, I believe how they feel. Thank you. KP
I was a past patient of theirs, I have a serious issue with my lung now, but because they have a policy of wiping out your history after 3 years, I literally have to go thru the process of getting a new referral from my primary doctors office. I had 3 people call me back and tell me I've never been a patient. It's a ridiculous and unreasonable policy to wipe the past history of a patient out after 3 years. They didn't care that I was a former patient and had proof. I was treated poorly on the phone and will go somewhere else. Don't go there...if your lungs are OK heal and then another problem occurs, they will have already wiped out your history. They have lost me as a patient and I will let others know of this ridiculous policy and to find someone else. .
I have been a patient for over twenty years. They have always been there to help me with my sleep disorder. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor. The medical assistant has helped me with my insurance issues in a timely manner.
I had one visit in order for insurance to allow me to get a cpap machine. I began trying to get help for problems I was having. After a couple months of no help, no response, no call backs, & no answers, I called the Sparrow patient advocate (patient experience). She refused to talk to me. After I arranged a referral to a different group, they called and asked if I wanted to make an appointment. No. Thanks. (Posted for my husband Mike)
