I came back to Bad Axe cause I had absolutely wonderful experiences in the labor and delivery. However, my last visit I ended up with PTSD from a neglectful doctor whom has since been let go. My nurses were absolute angels and advocated for me every step of the way. Dr.Nikole Bazger was the worst doctor and Jodi my CRNA was nice enough, but caught her at a terrible time, toward the end of a shift. I had 8 holes in my back by the time she was done with me. I had a spinal and tension headache! I could not lay down and screamed from pain in my head and with every contraction things intensified. Johnnie the next CRNA was so compassionate and was able to get an epidural in my back to get my pain to subside long enough I could deliver my daughter naturally. Dr.Park was the next doctor I had and she was absolutely amazing very kind and sweet 10/10 loved her. I had 2 blood patches done to fix the leak in my spine. I gave 1 stars for my terrible experience. However, I would give 5 to my nursing staff, 5 to Emily for addressing this promptly in the complaints department, 5 for the hospital taking me seriously and getting rid of a Bad Doctor. 10 to my nurse Ann best nurse EVER. To every nurse on that floor you are all amazing people! I saw the worst and best in people in August when I delivered here.

Our little hospital here in Huron County is excellent. I have always had the best care here, as I never have to wait long in the registration area as well as finding the Doctors and Nurses very attentive and compassionate to my needs--and that is saying a lot! I am Autistic and they made accommodations for me, as well as sent me home with extra towels for my condition!! The cafeteria food and little gift shop are unique and caring as well. And all HIPAA rights to privacy are protected. A++, keep it going McLaren; your level of commitment to quality is RARE INDEED in this current day/age!! I highly recommend for all of your Healthcare needs.

I was the only patient and it took over half hour to get my info entered in to the system. Another 20 mins with doc entering info as well. Took about an hour, I can get in and out of Scheurer walk in clinic in 15-20 mins. Doc was great and thorough. The process to enter a patient in to the system seem to be difficult . I was the only person in the lobby. Should not tel this long.

I had my first visit with Dr. Alaouie. He and his staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and they did as much as they could to help the visit move smoothly. He was running late that day, but I knew that could happen, and I was grateful to get in as soon as I did. I've been told that Monday mornings are his procedure day, so other days of the week are probably better if you have to schedule an appointment. I appreciated that the doctor took the time to get a full history; some doctors seem to rush through patient appointments, but he did not.

Great place with friendly and professional caregivers. Dr McManamen is an outstanding surgeon and coming back to the hospital for a second long overdue surgery. Highly skilled Dr and that goes for the entire staff. Very clean hospital.
