Prepare for scheduling to take the better part of a year, see below. I originally posted this review out of frustration and somehow they magically called me within minutes, when not being able to get in touch with them for over 6 weeks... interesting. Last August I called to schedule an appointment and the soonest I could get in with the provider was October. The provider said to expect a call within 3 weeks to schedule the tests. After 3 weeks and not hearing anything, I sent a MyChart message asking how I can schedule. Then for the following 3-4 weeks, I would get a voicemail that was "call us back to schedule." The call-back line was merely a voicemail line that states they'll call back within 3 business days. The first voicemail I left, it took about 5 business days to get a call back, and I missed the call! So I call them back and leave a message again and have to wait another 3-4 business days. This went on for FIVE times. I left my phone ringer on and stayed close to my phone for 3-4 full weeks, but somehow they'd always call me when I was in the shower, or sleeping or driving... I sent a second MyChart message asking for another way to schedule since phone tag game clearly wasn't working... Finally, I left this frustrated review, and I magically got their direct line within literal minutes and was able to schedule the test (its now mid-December). This took 7 weeks from when the provider ordered the test. The test is scheduled for late December, and the follow up appointment with the provider to review the results is in MARCH... So as of right now, the process has taken from August to March, its taken numerous phone calls, two MyChart messages and a Google Review to get scheduled. I normally go through Fairview, but Allina had better reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. Will update again as this process continues to fall apart. The only thing going for them so far is that the provider was very kind and professional... scheduling has been a nightmare. Best of luck to all of you!
Met a Dr today, first time with her. Very impressed with her manor, knowledge and education. She was able to communicate and teach me about pulmonary issues. So very glad for this positive appointment!
Doctor knew my history before walking into the room, listened to what I had to say and explained things clearly. Nurse was professional and efficient. Appoint was on time; no extra waiting for appointment.
Dr. Robichaux is awesome and great to work with. I would give her 5 stars all the way. The scheduling department is a nightmare and they do not make anything convenient for you. They make you jump through all these hoops just to make more money. This is the only speciality department that is painful to work with. I hope they fix it for future patients as I will not be dealing with them any longer.
Dr. Andrew Stiehm is everything you want your doctor to be. He is very knowledgeable but not arrogant. He’s easy to talk to and listens before he speaks. I’m an oral Surgeon and very critical of clinicians but Dr Stiehm represents a model we should all strive to emulate. I am very grateful for his care!
