Friendly, knowledgeable service. Clean and inviting.
This office has come a long way. Granted, they had staffing issues to begin. However, now they are fast, efficient and professional. Kind hearted staff and providers who have always loved their patients. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone.
I was very happy and satisfied both in reception and trained personnel Gabrielle was kind and informative Dr Dut has always been very professional , informative and spends time explaining any concerns you might have. I would recommend their services
It all started when my general practitioner asked me if I snore. Like an idiot, I said, "Sometimes." Had a home study come back inconclusive and -- bingo -- referred to this office. When the referral took a couple of years to go through (no exaggeration), that should have been a red flag from the get-go, but hey, I stuck with it, since I was curious what the "real sleep doctors" would find. I did have a positive visit with one of the practitioners, where she recommended going straight into the lab for a study, rather than going through another home study. I was on board. I would be called, she said. Time passed. A couple of months passed, if not more. I called them and asked what happened. They then got back to me and said I had been prescribed another home test. I told them that's not what was discussed. Only was able to speak to a receptionist. Tried sending a message to the doctor through the portal...but got the receptionist stonewall again (rookie move on my part, granted). So, I gave in and went through the home study, which, again, came back inconclusive. But hey, NOW would be the time for the actual study in the lab! More time passed, but at least they warned me that it could take a while. After the study, I awaited a review of my results with a doctor/medical professional. A telephone call was scheduled. What happened instead is that I got a call from a CPAP manufacturer that I had been prescribed a machine and they wanted to set up an appointment for training me on it. When I told them about my upcoming call with the doctor, they said it was too soon, since the call was supposed to happen AFTER I was on the CPAP for a while. I called the doctor about what the manufacturer had told me. A note was made in the portal, essentially with the doctor saying "Okay," but no change to the scheduled call. Thinking about things, I called the manufacturer and pushed my appointment with them off a couple of weeks. (these events are taking weeks, not days) I got a call from the doctor saying -- I kid you not -- that they heard I got my CPAP and needed to push their call off because I needed to be on it for a while. I then told them that no one had gone over my study results with me and that I did not even have the CPAP yet. The call was kept as scheduled. Here's the punchline: Another doctor was on the call (not the doctor I started off with) and said that my apnea was borderline and mild and could probably be controlled with some weight loss. He said I could cancel the CPAP. I appreciated his candor, but I cannot forgive the prescription of a CPAP without a review of my study results. My wife goes to another sleep medicine clinic locally and I will be shifting to them. Do not go to this place.
I have been a sleep apnea patient with this practice for several years and have no issues with the providers that I have seen. However, the call center and office answering system is the most inefficient that I have ever experienced with any physician’s office. Calls are taken between 9-11am and 1-3:30pm and are taken in order of receipt. It is nearly impossible to get a person in a timely manner.. A simple request for an annual follow up appt resulted in 45 minutes on hold listening to redundant messaging with being number 10. Earlier call attempts found that I was the 20th and 17th caller. My time is valuable, too. Simple call options for appts only, talk to a nurse, and leave a message would improve efficiency and customer satisfaction immensely. My frustration was also exacerbated with their patient portal not recognizing my user name even though I confirmed that it was correct by verifying with a previous email. The “advocate” stated they were changing to St Joe’s and a new link would be sent. I won’t hold my breath. Be sure to schedule your next appt before you leave the office or when your tele health visit is completed!
