I have been a patient here for two or three years. Have had insomnia for the past 30 years or so, and require medication to sleep. I had an appointment with Brittany Hanlon 3 weeks ago where she upped the dose of my prescriptions and told me to reach out if I needed anything. The new dose did nothing to help me sleep (I only get a couple of hours most nights), so I sent her a message on 8/12 letting her know it wasn't working. I didn't hear back so I messaged her again on 8/14. Still no response until yesterday 8/20 where she asked me a few questions and then left me hanging again. It is hard to function with no sleep and it appears that Presbyterian could care less about their patients unless they are getting paid for a doctor's visit. I filed a report through a really nice representative, but I have to wait to get a letter in the mail to find out what will be done. I am done with Presbyterian. They used to be the best provider in town, but have gone downhill when they fired all their doctors for not getting vaccinated. Now, all you can do is see a nurse practitioner who doesn't know how to help you. I wouldn't recommend Brittany to my family and friends because she simply doesn't seem to care about her patients.
I had an in-lab sleep study at this facility. The room was very nice, clean and quiet. The sleep tech Sean (Shawn?) was attentive and told me what to expect. He made sure to answer all my questions. I was able to sleep and the study went well. I was able to schedule the study months prior to an opening at Kaseman. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility. FYI, the sleep center is in the back of building.
I have been told for many years that I needed to have a sleep study completed, but I hesitated because I didn't want to stay overnight. I appreciated the at home process. I was told that I would be called in 30 days or so, after testing was processed. I was called within a few business days with results. Wow! I also want to note that every person I came in contact with at this center was warm and helpful. Thank you.
I've waited over half a year for my appointment because that's how long it takes to get an appointment anywhere in the United States with our flawed medical system. The day finally came and when I called the representative they said my appointment was at 12 and when I got there it was scheduled for 11. The lady at the receptionist told me to check my mychart, I'm old fashioned even though I'm in my 20s, I prefer a phone call, even though I asked multiple times what time and date my appointment was. The receptionist tells me to wait while she figures out what she can do, but she said I would have to reschedule the appointment; which probably won't be for another 3-6 months. She came back about 5 minutes later and told me the doctor told her to tell me to, "call them back and reschedule myself," even though they could have rescheduled me there themselves. Wasn't it enough that I missed the appointment I was waiting for over half a year? It was already disappointing I've been waiting so long to miss this appointment, to be further mistreated with them not wanting to reschedule me. What was the point of that? My appointment was to figure out if I have cancer or not, to move onto a bone marrow test if this sleep study came back negative, I did not mention this at all. At this point, if it is cancer, how far will it progress if this sleep study test comes back negative? I've been waiting 6 months already. Patients have to be dying in this country for medical providers to find something and at that points is too late. The people here were not empathetic nor do they sympathize with their patients, it makes sense why they have a horrible 1 star rating; at this point medical providers only care about the money and not their patients. I was calm the entire time, I was upset but I was never rude nor did I treat the staff like they treated me.
I was running late here and Teresa, my nurse made me feel welcomed and comfortable. She was first and foremost, very respectful, and compassionate, and kind. She was also fun, playful ,energetic and answered all of my off topic questions with knowledge and interest. She treated me how an aunt that I don’t see often would. I would love to have her as my nurse again, and am glad I got her.
