My first experience with this and I was nervous some bc I didn't know what to expect but my tech his name was Corinthian ,he was very nice and very knowledgeable. He made me feel at ease. Thank you!
Great experience from start to finish. The process was smooth, the team was helpful, and the instructions were easy to follow. I got clear, helpful results quickly and finally feel like I’m on the path to better sleep
I was not pleased with my sleep study or interactions with the staff member at all! Overall, I didn't have a problem with the facility because I've seen worse facilities. But the staff member was beyond inappropriate. I have a clear understanding of customer service and putting a patient's mind at ease; so, I didn't have a problem with small talk. But after I got into my pajamas, the staff member made comments about how I attractive I am. Referring to me as a "snack" or "meal". He also made comments about how "innocent" I seemed, and my voice was "nice". Although I was in a vulnerable state, there was one more patient in the office. This person's presence helped a little and I decided to complete the study. I've slept through IDFs in Afghanistan, but After hearing the inappropriate comments I had a hard time falling asleep! When the person came in the next morning to wake me, the first thing he said to me was "Ohhh, it smells like flowers in your room, it smells so good!" Creep meter went all the way up on 10! I tried reaching out to the office to speak with someone (no answer and the option to contact the office through their website failed) but more than likely I will go in person due to the serious nature of my experience. And even more concerning is another person had a similar experience with the same employee! The review of her experience was posted two years ago! 0 out of 10, I do NOT recommend! *I intentionally didn't mention the staff member by name. If the matter is not addressed properly, I'll include the name at a later date.
A terrible experience all around. The tech was extremely unprofessional and made uncomfortable comments. There were two patients, myself and a male, treated me differently than him. Stated he tells all the women he's there to keep them safe, told me not to lie about my weight on my form since most women do, told me women rarely have sleep apnea, that we would normally end at 430, but since it's Friday he would end it at 4, told me I looked great for my age and to keep it up, made sure to let us know that we had to sleep for 5 hours or we would have to come back so that meant we had to fall asleep immediately for the test to count .. this naturally added to some anxiety. The room was close to a main highway and had nothing blocking the sound from outside. All night I heard loud car engines, loud bass from cars. In total I slept around 2 hours, which the tech confirmed at my 4 am wake up. After 2 weeks I had not received any results, so I reached out. I was told the doctor was still analyzing since I didn't sleep the minimum required amount. After another week, the results were sent to my doctor and stated I slept 4.5 hours and no apnea was present. Now I have to complete another sleep study at a different location ....
Have done three studies there in the past two years. Nice staff, decent facility and never had any issues. The only thing I might see people having an issue with is that you never met the Dr. Not really an issue I suppose. The Dr reads your results at a later time and generates a report for you. For some folks I guess it would have been nice to have an actual dr go over results with you. I lived far away, so email me results for my PCM is fine. No need to make the 45 minute + drive to read me a paper in 4 minutes.
