Bordering on malpractice. I went to get a sleep study - as insisted upon by my neurologist - to see if I was having nocturnal seizures. All my symptoms pointed towards it but she wanted definitive proof from the EEG readout so she could make proper treatment decisions. I went to Premiere Sleep and they immediately decided - without testing me - that I had sleep apnea. While it very well may be the case that I have apnea as well, they completely disregarded that it could be anything more. I brought the note and referral from my neurologist and it didn’t matter a bit to them. This was about 6 months before the pandemic shut down. They said they’d humor me (and my neurologist) and put me on a list (I’m assuming) for the sleep lab. Several MONTHS later they called me to come pick up a “home test” to test for apnea and only apnea. I once again explained that my test needed brain wave data as my neurologist ordered, and I was told that it would NOT be necessary as the doctor at the sleep center was “sure” that IF I was having seizures it would be from apnea. This was all without sleep testing. I can 100% tell you that my seizures were not apnea dependent. It literally did not matter if my neurologist wanted me to see them, to get data, or sent notes or asked for an EEG readout as they had no regard for me or my referring physician!! As a patient you sometimes expect that medical practices will not take you seriously. But I never expected they would not take my neurologist seriously. They continued to call me to pick up the home test - which would only measure breathing and not brain activity and my insurance wouldn’t pay for a second lab test if I did the home test which would only provide irrelevant and unasked for information. It served only their needs for billing. It did not serve my needs or my neurologist requests at all. Premier Sleep is in business only to serve themselves. Instead of doing something responsible like - scheduling me for lab time or referring me to another facility, they did nothing but send me a bill. So - not only are they incompetent and I believe heavily scamming the system for where they know they can get paid, but they have ZERO concern for their patients. I had a serious condition and they brushed past it without care. Further - I’d like to send them a bill. My time spent on the phone with them, my neurologists time, my three $50 copays and my driving back and forth several times for zero reason because they demanded I come in. This is the worst place for medical care. And they charge you for gross negligence!

Incompetent, selfish service all around. DON'T BOTHER TO GO HERE UNLESS YOU ARE ONE WHO THRIVES ON NEGLECT.

Terrible! Dr. never calls back. At initial appt, before first sleep study was done, Dr. already decided it was severe sleep apnea.
