I was able to book an appt immediately after coming home from vacation sick. I didn’t wait long in the waiting room. Maybe 5 minutes. Longest wait time was waiting for the doctor to come in after vitals were taken. But the doctor was very nice and knowledgeable and helpful. She prescribed several prescriptions. Offered over the counter remedies as well. And is having me come in for a checkup in 1 week.

Scheduling was very easy and convenient. Dr James Marshall patiently listened to all my health issues and also went above and beyond and tried to rectify an orthopaedic problem which seems a little better now. I would recommend this Docs Urgent Care staff and Dr. James Marshall to anyone who is looking for an honest, knowledgeable and experienced doctor and a friendly office staff.

I only waited 2 minutes in the waiting room and the I saw the Dr within a few minutes of the nurse doing vitals and such. The staff was great friendly and attentive. Highly recommend DOCS and Dr. Marshall was awesome.

What a phenomenal experience! From scheduling to check-in (super friendly and helpful gentleman) to visit with both the RN & Dr Unger. She was thorough, compassionate & explained all that was causing me to feel so awful. Beyond the staff being so good is the short distance from our home to the clinic. Can not recommend this medical practice enough! Thank you.

You expect a certain amount of professional care at any Urgent Care Facility. What I did not expect from DOCS Urgent Care in Monroe, CT was the high level of care I received from the moment I called the location until I saw the doctor. I was a new patient so my forms were sent right to my phone to quickly fill out and sign. I had spoken with Thiago on the phone who was so warm and understanding as I asked questions about coming into a, new to me, Urgent Care. He took the time to answer my questions and invited me to come right in. I met Almaas in reception who went above and beyond to check me in and even quickly dealt with an insurance issue I had. I was surprised to see that Almaas was also the nurse taking care of me with my vitals and other questions. She is a true pro and very understanding. Some people experience stress at these appointments and she quickly made me feel comfortable. I met with Dr. Marshall who I already know has been a part of the Monroe community for years! Dr. Marshall also takes time to make you feel calm and chat about what your feeling. I had mentioned that I was there for a recheck as I still wasn't feeling better from a visit at another facility. He examined me and, as I have known him to do in the past, sat and explained exactly what we found, his thoughts and WHY we needed a different path to kick this sickness. He talks to you as a normal person and makes perfect sense. I could not have asked for a better "sick" visit and, in the future, will be trusting the fine people at DOCS Urgent Care Monroe, for all my health concerns. So great to have this high level of service in such a local office! Well done DOCS!
