Verified patient experiences
Not sure why all the negative reviews. I've had nothing but a great experience with this place. No issues with insurance as stated by other reviewers. I suspect a lot of these reviews are user error with their insurance and also lack of patience cause I've had zero issues and was responded too quickly.
If I could give zero stars, I would. The people there are not professional at all. From poor instructions, to poor communication, it doesn’t help patients well, especially if they are older parents. They don’t explain things correctly too, by using verbiage over the phone that scares people into getting the c-pap machine…roping them into having to follow up with yet another doctor regularly while using it—aka a way to get money. Yet when reading the findings on paper, the results were far different. Coincidence; I think not. I myself have been trying to get through for days for my mom, and they just put you on hold without letting you know, never pick back up, and it is completely unprofessional. How can you have people answering phones who can’t even take a few brief moments to say thank you for calling, would you mind holding for a brief moment? That’s just lack of care for their job and the patients they are supposed to be assisting. I myself have done a sleep study in the past but it wasn’t through this place. I can tell you if you are looking here, run and save your sanity, because this place can’t be trusted if it is that poorly run.
The actual sleep study was fine. But their handling of your insurance & how much you owe is borderline fraud. Not just a one off occurrence, this was 3 different bills/appointments, multiple requests for them to re-run my insurance/check my deductible....and they still tell me I owed. 1) After paying the initial $900+ for my first appt, I see that they submitted to my insurance and my insurance fully covered it. 2) Same thing with my second appt . Had to send multiple proofs of this double billing and multiple attempts to get reimbursed. 3) And then when time for a CPAP prescription they still couldn't figure out my deductible until I had a written notice from my insurance. Anyway I found a brand new CPAP from a direct website for 25% of their quoted cost, just lookup Youtube videos to fine tune based off the diagnostics from your original sleep study. Hope this place shuts down, I assume they've pulled this nonsense with so many patients who aren't aware they're being double charged.
Bad experience! The staff are not very helpful! They dispensed CPAP machine to me without giving proper instruction and advised me to watch youtube. My first few nights using my cpap machine was so bad to the point that I had to wake up 5-10x each night due to excessive pressure and air leak coming out from nasal mask. I called the office and made them aware of my experience and I was told that someone will call me from other department that takes care of this issue. After 4 days of waiting, someone finally called and instructed me to bring the machine in the afternoon. The staff examined my machines/ supplies and looked up the prescription and changed the nasal cannula from medium to small which they should have done the first time they dispense the machine to me. I was charged for another $50 co pay for just for just switching the nasal seal. Will not recommend to anybody!!
Absolutely horrible. If your primary refers you here, find somewhere else. All but two of the Receptionists are rude and miserable people. The only real help I have had here in going on two years is thr lady that will call and check on my supplies. I was supposed to have a follow up set for four months after my original appointment. Just now getting it after almost two years. The day of the appointment some wench from the office calls me to cancel the appointment because they don't have my cpap data and will want to cancel for another month because they can't do their job. Again, I advise to find somewhere that has some level of customer service and not miserable employees. You have to call to be let in. After twenty minutes I am still standing in the hall way waiting. It's rather poor service since I have been listening to the loud moth receptionist on the other side of the door for roughly 18 of the 20 minutes.
