I cannot say enough about this practice. From the time I scheduled my appointment up until I seen the doctor, I received nothing but courtesy, compassion, understanding, patience, accuracy, not rushed off the phone and the most amazing experience was my actual appointment Mary Lang FNP, she was an example of a special doctor. She gave me nothing but respect, listened to me, did not rush through the appointment, she even put me on her schedule personally for my next visit. made me feel like I matter! I can't remember when I got such care from a doctor! It was like it use to be 20+ years ago! The group at the front desk were fantastic strong customer service skills, to the MA extremely polite, courtesy, friendly up until I seen the doctor I cannot say enough! Thank you Lung, Allergy and Sleep for caring and taking great care of me!
Office scheduling is a mess. An order was put in for a test that I had clearly declined with the doctor. My doctor asked for a follow-up in two months. The scheduler could not find any openings and scheduled it for six months. After that I received three notices in a row that my appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for six months after that. After a hospitalization I needed night oxygen but as there was no way to get an actual appointment be seen, I had to ask another doctor to assist with that process. Still waiting on other needed pulmonary testing. There is a medically dangerous mess in the front office and a real lack of communication between the docs and the staff.
I have been coming here for quite some time. I see Mary Lange and she is GREAT! Very nice, she is thorough and listens. The desk staff is great too! I highly recommend them!!
Wasn’t taken seriously for sleep apnea during my appointment. Months later after taking a sleep test it turns out I actually do have sleep apnea. My RDI was 40 and AHI was 8 during rem during the test. Staff was overall very friendly, but extremely disappointed in how I wasn’t listened to at all by the doctor.
This place is a circus. If you gave to go here be ready to wait many months before getting any treatment and your care will be neglected. I did a sleep study and results were in in December. I followed up multiple times asking about the results from my sleep study and was told it was not ready going into February. My primary care doctor during my annual checkup looked to see that the results were actually ready and this was how I found out I have severe sleep apnea. Dr. Curl had to tell the front desk that the sleep study results were in, and there was a software error, causing them to not show up at this point I had waited nearly a year between my initial appointment and receiving any care for severe sleep apnea. They had to schedule an appointment to review my sleep study that would again take another couple months and prolong my treatment so I said that I would rather just have Cpap first and basically I had to figure out everything on my own. The Cpap provider will just mail you equipment, you don't get to try on masks or get any help with setup. Then they talked me into canceling the appointment to review my sleep study with the doctor because I already had my CPAP device. After about three months I needed to make another appointment for insurance purposes which they canceled on me twice and I was open to taking a virtual appointment during my wife’s labor in the hospital which they were fully aware of, but they canceled this one on me so I have to visit the nurse practitioner, even though the doctor told me she wants to see me specifically, but she wasn't available until October (this was in May). When cancelling this appointment they still thought this was to review my sleep study, when I'd been using the cpap for 3 months already and figured out the sleep study on my own. This is extremely concerning because they are supposed to be monitoring and adjusting the machine for my care, and they are required to keep up with me for insurance to keep paying for the machine (it's considered a rental!). By the time I got in to my follow up, now June, after caring for my recovering partner and crying newborn 15 minutes late, they turned me away knowing the circumstances even though it is a 40 minute drive. So I'll be back here next week. Front desk is always extremely rude and hard to work with.
