After giving this office and Doctor several months to fix their mistake I am sad to say I have been given no other choice but to write this poor review of my experience. I walked into this office in March, then promptly followed up with a sleep study in early April. The Experience through the sleep study was great, communication was good and I had 0 complaints. However this is where the story changes. At the sleep study I scheduled my follow up appointment for July 15th. Ignorant to the process I expected to pick up my sleep machine at this appointment. However when I went to this appointment Dr. Jain was surprised to find out I had not received my sleep machine yet. We promptly moved from the exam room and investigated with his front desk to find out they had forgot to submit my paperwork from back in April. Now at this point, the important thing to note is that my insurance deductible reset on 6/30; not to mention I had been without my required sleep machine for several weeks. Due to the tardiness of the front desk staff with submitting my paperwork to get the sleep machine I was now forced to pay out of pocket for the machine rather than the insurance covering the cost. Now to give further clarity to the situation, I confirmed back in March with my insurance given my deductible was met I would pay nothing out of pocket for this machine if it was needed. I received my machine July 29th, on this date I was forced to pay for the entire machine out of pocket. This date was exactly 2 weeks after my follow up appointment. If his staff had processed the documentation on time given even a few additional weeks of extra time I would've easily met the deductible deadline. I reached out early August to his office to ask if they would cover this amount or at least cover a portion due to their error. I was told they would talk to the doctor and would get back to me. Fast-forwarding to today November 11th, I finally heard back after reaching out earlier in the week to finally get an answer. I was made aware of their stance on the issue is that they understand they made a mistake and mistakes happen. I agreed and offered to forget the issue if they would cover some of the amount that I was forced to pay due to their error. Their response was their hands were tied and started to get immediately defensive when I said I would be left with no choice but to write this review and contact the Better Business Bureau. The woman asked if I was making a threat if they didn't pay, almost trying to back me into a corner as if I was extorting them... for their mistake no less. This crossed the line, I had been nothing but professional, patient and kind to this business over several months. I did not make the mistake and the way the situation was handled is no way to conduct business. The final straw of gaslighting me into thinking I was in the wrong for reaching out trying to get their mistake taken care of is just simply obtuse.
Wonderful doctor.
