Winchester Hospital Sleep Disorder Center

I brought my child to Winchester Hospital expecting basic organization, compassion, and timely care. Instead, we walked into complete chaos. The wait times were outrageous—families sitting for hours with zero communication, no updates, and no sense of priority or urgency. It genuinely felt like no one had any system for who was being seen, who was next, or who had been waiting the longest. Parents were confused, frustrated, and left in the dark. What made this even worse was the way patients seemed to be treated. It sure appeared that certain children were being taken ahead of families from other backgrounds, even when those families had been waiting much longer. Whether intentional or not, it came across as discriminatory and deeply unfair. No child should ever be treated differently based on race, ethnicity, or nationality—period. Staff couldn’t answer basic questions about check-ins, estimated wait times, or triage order. It honestly felt like nobody was in charge and nobody cared. For a hospital responsible for children’s care, that is shocking and unacceptable. Families deserve dignity, transparency, and equal treatment. Winchester Hospital completely failed on all three. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend that other parents think twice before trusting their child’s care to this facility.

I have been to different hospitals none came close to the care I received at Winchester. Two of the nurses I had at different times were Michele and Marie great care from both. If I ever have to go back I hope the are my nurses again.

I delivered my baby girl at Winchester Hospital and had the most wonderful experience from start to finish. The entire Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby care teams were too good to be true! A special thank you to Lindsey, who helped me through my delivery with so much positivity, calmness, and encouragement, she made my first delivery such a beautiful and empowering experience. Kim from the same unit took incredibly special care of me, ensuring I was comfortable. Every single nurse who came by was so attentive, kind, and supportive.I truly felt cared for every step of the way. A big shoutout to Kerry, the lactation consultant, who was so patient and knowledgeable. She guided me with breastfeeding and helped me feel confident as a first-time mom. Michelle from care unit was amazing again. She was a sweetheart 💕 Even beyond the medical team, the housekeepers kept my room spotless, and the food service team made sure I was well-fed and comfortable throughout my 4-day stay in Room #286. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first delivery. I’m so grateful I chose Winchester Hospital, they made the start of motherhood feel safe, supported, and full of care. ❤️

The imaging department has caused incredible frustration due to their billing issues which have no resolution and caused me to pay out of pocket for covered services despite dozens of calls. It seems to be a very common occurrence with their billing company based on other online reviews (North Shore Radiology Associates) and I would recommend doing your imaging work elsewhere so you don’t get stuck with the bill. On the other side, we had both our babies here and the maternity ward was amazing. Can’t speak highly enough about the entire staff. They are top notch.

I had an amazing experience at Winchester Hospital. As a first-time mom, I was nervous and unsure of what to expect, but the labor and delivery nurses and staff were incredible. They guided me through every step of the process. I couldn’t have asked for a better team!
