Currently going into my 2nd night here after giving birth and the night nurse assigned to me Tatiana is not helpful at all. All the other nurses were attentive and supportive, at night they would check in on me to see how I was doing and even take the baby to the nursery so I can get some sleep. This woman has not done that at all, instead it is 5am and I have yet to sleep AT ALL. It’s disgraceful and I am overwhelmed / tired that all I wish is I had a different nurse who was more attentive understanding and supportive. How unfortunate that these are the conditions and expectations I am met with while all the other nurses were more helpful. I just pray I’ll get some kind of sleep.

Emergency room is not the best. One Doctor Rocco took almost 14 blood tests during my weekend stay. The nurses on the patient floors are incredible and caring. Without Dr Sharam Razman, I would've left after being treated like dirt in the Emergency room. Dr Chopra is a fine family doctor as well. Something has changed at St. John's Hospital? They are losing great Doctors, nurses and staff. But I never had any issues in until last year. My Dad wa were & they were extremly pushy trying to get him admitted during COVID. He just fell and needed an x-ray. Unbelievable

Worst hospital hands down only second to Lincoln (BX)!!! If you value your health, Please do not come to this hospital! My daughter went into the ER 10-27 with severe stomach pain. She was examined on a chair in the lobby (triage area) while doubled over in pain. Within 1.5 hours she was told she had nothing to go home and try to use the bathroom. 10-28 she is unable to walk or stand. We came to St Joseph’s where they found she had appendicitis and was rushed into the OR! Food for thought…

I was brought into the emergency room to be treated I thought I was having a heart attack. The Drs & nurses were fantastic. I had received great care.I was admitted to room 628. The nurses were also fantastic. I think they should be acknowledged for their fantastic hard work. Thanks to the nurses and doctors.I would also like to say the man worker that does the menus was also fantastic. He realized that I have not eaten in 2 days. He came into my room to ask me what kind of food I like cause I told him I'm a very fussy eater. He brought me what I like to eat. Very nice of him to accommodate me. He also should be acknowledged . That means a lot to me how he was so thoughtful.

If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. I took my mom to the hospital on Thursday October 2nd 2025. We told them that my mom has had infections where she needed to be hospitalized because oral antibiotics doesn’t work for her. They refused to listen to us. They gave her one dose of “potent” antibiotics intravenously and told us this would work. And sent her home with antibiotics. Mind you they sent her home looking and feeling worse than when she came in with a fever and everything. She didn’t even have a fever when she came in and still proceeded to send her home so they didn’t have to admit her. I don't know if they were just being lazy and didn’t want to do the paperwork or what but it was disgusting the way they treated her. Mind you there was only about 4 other people in the ER so it’s not like it was busy and they were taking their sweet time to help her to the bathroom. The doctor even smirked when I asked him for a commode because she uses the bathroom a lot since she takes a certain medication. The redness went from one area of the arm to her whole forearm is red and hot and hard and it’s radiating up her arm. I will never take my mom back there.
