Wasn't planning on my ER visit to turn in to an overnight stay, but very blessed that this facility was familiar with my symptoms and health conditions. Prompt, professional, and thorough care provided by staff that was amazing in every way!!! Hope no one reading this needs hospital care, but should you find yourself at this facility, you are in great hands!
Drs. Nurses and staff were very professional and treated me with respect and compassion. Er nurse and 6th floor nurse were very caring and supportive. I felt like they really cared about me and my health.
I went to Cabrini because I had fallen off of my back steps. I had five serious wounds on my body plus my hand was swollen, and my middle finger was laying over my ring finger on my left hand. I was not offered ice. The hospital staff did not clean my wounds so now my hand is infected. I was not treated like a person. I did not ask for pain meds because I didn’t want pain meds, but I was hurting really bad. They took x-rays of my hand and my forearm but did not bother with my shoulder or My upper arm. The nurse practitioner did not explain anything. She was rude. I had a horrible experience. Have we come so far down the toilet that there is no compassion left?
Alexandria, Louisiana has two main hospitals; one that I would not send my dog to and there is Christus Saint Francis Cabrini Hospital. Cabrini has a great staff. Deserving of the greatest praises to bestowed upon any. I am constantly holding my Primary Doctor, Joanna Carole Holton, in the highest due to the simple fact that she has always been there for me and genially cares about one's health, she takes it to heart. There is true compassion in her, and it shows. It is so strong that her fellow staff members seem to exude the same care and understanding as she does. In my lifetime, I have traveled many of these states, seen a lot of doctors, but most have never impressed me the way she and her crew have. I said it a thousand times and I truly meant it; Doctor Joanna Carole Holton, thank you for all you do!
The hospital was easy to find I have been here before in the past and the staff has always been very helpful and nice. The areas I've been to within the hospital has been clean and bathrooms clean. Every time I was here I was greeted with a smile. This was another pleasant experience.
