Needed and Autopap and found this location through my medical supplies friend. Turned out I know the physician! Best staff and totally knows how to treat the patient! Thank you to the staff. Chris is wonderful and caring and Sergei is awesome as well!
The sleep study was great and they did a fantastic job. However NEVER, EVER, EVER order supplies from them. I ordered 3 face mask replacement cushions (full retail price $59 from manufacturer). The billed me for a full mask replacements {MSRP $118) and charged me even more than full MSRP price for that item (wrong item) instead and I can't get them to correct the problem. I'm told that they outsource billing and that is that. I'm filing complaints with the Ohio Department of Insurance and Supermed for insurance fraud since this can't get resolved. Fortunately a friend is a VP at Medical Mutual, so he said he can put the screws to them if needed. No way I should be charged $360. Beware! Beware, Beware. Cost elsewhere is about $28 each.
I scheduled an appointment with the scheduling coordinator Chris a few weeks ago.... she was very nice at the time that I scheduled my appointment. However, today which is the day of my appointment I called more than 8 hours before it was time for my appointment.... it is 3:00pm now while I'm typing I talked to her about 20 to 30 minutes ago and my appointment was scheduled for tonight at 10pm.... Anyway I called to reschedule (not cancel) and their scheduling coordinator Chris was extremely rude and disrespectful to me over the phone. She told me that generally people don't cancel their appointments a few hours before they are scheduled because things don't generally come up where people have to reschedule their appointments. She then proceeded to tell me.that there is a 100 dollar cancellation fee (which was never explained to me by her when she scheduled my appointment) which I said fine. My reason for cancelling was.because I was/am sick and I have children who are in my home sick as well. I was totally appalled by her response to me as when I scheduled my appointment she was very nice but the moment I called in to cancel she was extremely rude. I will not be utilizing this facility for my sleep study
Recommended by my sleep doctor after asking about them in his office. Went to get my cpap supplies and got argued with about what tubing size I have. Brings out one smaller and tell him its smaller, only to bring out one twice the size of my current hose. If I wanted this kind of headache I would have stayed with Lincare. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. On to top it off still wasn't getting all the supplies I needed. Was treated like a fast food customer. Get your stuff and get out.
I was referred to this facility by a physician who has a private practice, also on the west side, & initially found the staff to be professional & friendly, even generous. Initially being unaware of pricing, over time, l have found that their billing practices are questionable with most of their equipment overpriced 2-3 times (& often more) of what LIST price is but insurance will pay for only a portion since their prices are EXTREMELY HIGH. You can buy for a fraction of the cost on the internet. Initially, I did not realize that the referring physician had a stake (ownership) in West Region Sleep Center. I have excellent insurance but always seemed to get a bill for supplies that are covered quarterly through insurance, blaming it on my deductible. As it turns out, if I am going to have any out if pocket expenses, why should I allow them to bill my insurance, in addition to making me pay the difference of their overinflated prices, essentially paying them twice??? I won't go back & urge you to look elsewhere for care & supplies. Pricewise, you can do much, much better. Stay as far away as possible.
