GP sent referral for a medical device I call 10 days later to see if there is an issue well they lost the referral. Had to have my doctor call another one in another 10 days later I called to see if there’s an issue. Nope just don’t have the device. Good on ya Benefis maybe notify the provider or patient instead of waiting nearly a month of time due to your ineptitude
Staff is Fabulous and Mary is so knowledgeable! She feel so happy and relaxed with my care at Benefis 🩷
I thought Benefis was better than ST. Peters, I was wrong. Ive gone thru all the bs and have spent thousands of dollars to get to this point for back surgery and now I can't get anyone to return my calls or respond on mychart. Obviously Benifis doesnt care about their patients or the pain they're in.
If you are looking for fantastic medical professionals, you really won't find anywhere better then Benefis. However, if you want the added headache of incompetent support people like their finance and billing department, then look no further. Doesn't answer the phone? Check. Calls back 2+ business days later on urgent matters? Check. Once you are on the phone, unable to answer simple questions and instead punts you off to someone else, thus continuing this vicious cycle. Check. Gives you easily verifiable false information? Check. Want to be dealing with mundane billing/finance requirements up until the day BEFORE your procedure instead of the actual procedure itself? Check. They really got it all here to make your life harder. I imagine a requirement to get a job in one of these departments is to be stupid and difficult. Really a shame because they do have fantastic medical professionals.
I recently visited this medical lab for a urinalysis. The staff was pleasant and handled the process courteously, which was the only positive aspect of my experience. However, the pricing was shockingly disproportionate. I was charged three times the amount I paid for the same test in California, which is both surprising and seems unethical given the local economic context in Montana. The cost does not appear to reflect the income levels or the economic conditions of the area, making this service feel not only overpriced but also out of touch with the community's needs. It's crucial for medical facilities to consider the affordability and accessibility of their services, especially in healthcare where costs can significantly impact individuals' decisions and well-being. I would not recommend this lab for routine tests unless you're prepared for a bill that might not align with your expectations or budget. Hopefully, this feedback reaches the management to reconsider their pricing strategy to better serve the local population. **Update - removed a star - got my final bill 7 months after my visit for a simple urinalysis. 3 visits, exact same tests, exact same insurance, all within a 2 month period in the same year - 3 vastly different charges. Highly recommend not visiting Benefis. If it were a life or death situation and this was my only option, well, I've had a good run... **Update again 5.29.25 - Per the "owners" response I called the number last week, left a voicemail. 1 week and no call back. Instead they slapped another charge on my account. Coincidence, maybe? I now received a letter with one balance, and have different balance online. I wish I would have taken screen shots of how many times my balance has changed, charges appear, disappear. My guess is they are trying to save face online by responding to poor comments. No real intention of following up or improving their business.
