Thank GOD for the professional medical care which I received at BMH-GTR on Saturday, 12/20/2025. PA MacKenzie, nurse Vanessa, and all of the staff that administered medical services to me at the time of my extremely elevated blood pressure were caring. Everyone was polite, patience, informative, knowledgeable and attentive from the time that I went through the metal detection station until I was dismissed. All of their positive bedside manner positively impacted my treatment. I am truly blessed.

If I could give a negative I would. I have been here many times heck I use to work there. Most of the nurses are very caring. But the night I went there was the worst ever. Heck I should have walked out when the security guard almost ran over me with a wheel chair ( not to get me even though I was limping in) he went to wait on a car. I waited in the waiting room for over an hour. When I finally got called back they called another lady with me. We went to the back they told me to stop and wait while they took her to her room. Ok I understand ( but I’m the on that could hardly walk) they took me to the holding room that they put the inmates in. It had a bed and a chair. The walls were covered with dry body fluids of who knows what. Not only that but the bed had dried blood on it. When I walked out to have them put me in another room the nurse was hateful telling me they just had to put me where they could they didn’t feel like I was an emergency. She was just going to wipe the bed down and I could go back in what the hell I am fixing to get charged a couple of thousand dollars for a room that is nasty. I am still livid with this. I was treated like trash that night. This use to be a great place but now. I don’t think so. The workers use to have a heart but now they don’t give a damn about you. Here are a few of the pictures of my room.

The Asian lady that got my information who was the first one to see me, was extremely kind and friendly. She went out of her way to help me get my scan on the same day with my knee Xray. I was so very thankful as I was in a lot of pain with knee and broken nose. The man that did my scan was very kind, friendly, and helpful too, plus the Xray lady was all that too. I appreciate all 3 of the hospital employees.

I had a scary emergency experience over this weekend and I ended up at the Columbus Baptist hospital. Overall I had an amazing experience! My nurse, Laura, was FANTASTIC!! She was very attentive and had me a blanket as soon as I asked for it. My doctor was prompt in diagnosing me and had amazing bedside manners! Dr Richardson has worked for Baptist for something like 35 years he said! He was amazing!

My dad was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital due to the fact his blood pressure dropped quickly. The nurses came in the room trying to get an IV in his arm, they couldn’t after numerous tries. So, the man came in with the machine to find his vein. He finally got an IV placed above his elbow on the inside of his arm. So, CT tech took my dad down for a CT scan, she said the vein blew. The MUW student came in and stated, we’re waiting on someone to come in to place another IV. So, we waited and waited. Finally, Patti Manning, MD came in, I, Kathleen, stated, what caused his blood pressure to drop so quick. She stated, we gave him IV fluids. I, Kathleen, stated you’ll haven’t gave him anything. The IV fluid bag isn’t connected because, he doesn’t have a IV in his arm. She walks over to the pole where the IV fluid was hanging and stated, well they gave him the amount, I asked them too. I, Kathleen, stated, he hasn’t had any fluids. I’ve been here the whole time. The Dr looks like she was on some kind of drugs. She wasn’t giving eye contact just looking all around in the room. Random drug testing needs to be given before, someone life is taken.
