Wonderful Care and One Apple That Clearly Rolled a Little Too Far From the Tree I want to start by thanking thestaff at this hospital for their outstanding care. The generosity, the smiles, the genuine concern for my father it was truly appreciated. You could tell most of the team LOVES what they do and it shows. Now let’s talk about the moment that made me pause. My father was not serve his breakfast tray. No problem things happen, nobody’s perfect, and trust me, I wasn’t even irritated Because they have a cafeteria quick fix. It was the PCA’s reaction? Oh, she delivered an Oscar-worthy performance.(Hands Down) Before I could even finish my sentence, she quickly announced, “It wasn’t my fault!” (Mind you… I never said it was.) I was just asking a question.She then proceeds as if she was clocking out of a sitcom she threw her hands up like deuces ✌🏽 and walked off and said “Good day.” Well, wasn’t THAT just precious? She deserve an award.cause she put on quite the show very entertaining as Rihanna would say. Let’s just say, when you have a basket full of sweet, caring apples, every now and then you run into one that’s been overexposed to something. No worries I didn’t let one dramatically seasoned apple ruin the whole orchard. I did report her behavior to the Nurse Manager, who handled the situation with grace, professionalism, and kindness. Shout out to her a true gem AND a Roll Tide fan! She deserves recognition for how quickly and respectfully she addressed the concern. Alabama pride and excellent leadership all in one! Overall, the care for my father was beautiful, and we are grateful. One person may have tried to steal the show, but trust me the rest of the cast carried it with excellence. Thank you all from the bottom of our 💕 hearts

Everyone I encountered from the ER through my 3 days stay were so kind and caring. I felt as though my comfort and concerns were important to the entire staff from my RN’s to the nice ladies who cleaned my room and those who delivered my food. I will choose Northport in the future due to this wonderful care. Oh and the food was fantastic, I was pleasantly surprised!

I just wanted to let everybody know that the bedside manner that I have been treated with here as I am trying to heal has been amazing. I absolutely love my nurses! I'm definitely not the easiest patient that's for sure but they have been so good to me and they explain things to me and the humor me and they see what they can do to help me I'm not going list names because I'm afraid I'll leave somebody out but I will say this if anyone has to have a hospital stay Northport DCH is the place! I had a biopsy done in outpatient surgery with Dr. Eads. He was wonderful throughout the entire process and prayed with me before the procedure which I just thought was amazing. The nurses and staff were so nice and friendly! Everything was so organized and efficient. They started right on time and had me in and out within 3 hours. Every single person- from the registrar to the PCA- performed their job in a friendly and efficient way. Truly was a great experience! They’ve got it down to a science!

The person performing the test was excellent. She was experienced, knowledgeable, kind, and above all, she made sure I was comfortable. The attendant was joyful and the process could not have been better. For a medical procedure, it was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. I’ve had a few ultrasounds over the years, the one conducted at Northport Medical Centers ranks above them all. I highly recommend the NMC team.
