El Camino Hospital Sleep Lab

This clinic is disorganized, and lackadaisical when it comes to patient care. If you use their sleep doctor, you're stuck having to use this clinic. So don't make the same mistake I did. Even though they're part of Sutter Health, every one of Sutter Health's sleep clinics insists you must "establish patient care" first, meaning you gotta start with a consult with THEIR doctor (thereby subjecting you to another multiple months' wait). So what happens if when you do use the Los Gatos doctor and s/he orders a home sleep test? It's impossible to get your hands on the device needed for the study because NO ONE at the clinic bothers to return your call. I've been given 3 different numbers, called all 3 and left VM messages, and for 1.5 weeks, was unable to get a return call. Worse, their website specifies the work hours at 7 pm - 7 am (no surprise since it's a sleep clinic), but even if you call during those hours, no one picks up! Then I was told that, no, you can actually call during normal daytime hours. But oh, there is only 1 person who can help you, and she is out for 6 more days! I feel like an orphaned patient with this clinic. Patient experience is clearly not their priority!
