The team in the ED was SO NICE to me. Michelle, the RN taking care of me treated me like family and Dr. Atencio is one of the greatest doctors I’ve ever met. Both of these ladies went above and beyond to take the best care of me and they made me feel so safe and comfortable in their care. This was the best hospital experience I’ve ever had. You can tell they both love what they do by the way they care for their patients. I wish I could give this rating 100000 stars because they deserve it. It was such a pleasure to meet Michelle, RN and Dr. Atencio- incredibly BEAUTIFUL souls whom deserve every good thing this life has to offer. Lovelace, Thank you so much.

I've had a couple surgeries here and couple night stays in the ICU. OUTSTANDING experience. The ICU nurses were so caring, kind and helpful on my recovery. The facility was clean and staff was friendly. While going to the hospital isn't fun, being treated well sure help the stay. Thank you Lovelace Westside.

The service is subpar and unprofessional at the Westside location. I wanted to give it a zero star instead of one, if there is that option. I called in August to schedule an appointment at the women's hospital and the earliest date I could get was mid October. I showed up for the appointment only to learn that it was cancelled, without advanced notice either by text or by phone. Then I was rescheduled for the end of October but received a text message a day before the appointment that it was once again cancelled. The appointment has now been moved to January. There are excuses after excuses for cancellations. This is a very poor, unacceptable, and unprofessional service. Healthcare in the United is really poor compared to other developed or even developing countries. Unfortunately, New Mexico is one of the worst and it is devasting for its residents, particularly those in dire need for treatments. I will explore options for better and more professional services, but I am afraid living in New Mexico is a limitation. No one should pay premium for a service that is subpar, inefficient, and unprofessional.

Lovelace Westside Hospital ER I visited on 10/25/2025 due to abdominal pain on the right side, two fingers below my right ribs. The staff was excellent and efficient in providing care. I highly recommend their ER services. I arrived at 1:30 PM and was discharged at 11:30 PM, which was due to receiving four bottles of po``tassium at a rate of one bottle per hour. The doctor prescribed pain medicine which is really doing it's job. Thank you for the great help. Richard Trent

Today I went to the ER because I had extreme pain from my spinal cord down to my foot on the right side. I could not walk after about an hour. The doctor shows up in the ER. Ask a few questions then orders me three shots. I went in because I couldn’t walk. Three shots made me comfortable while lying on the gurney in the emergency room but the moment I got up to walk, I couldn’t walk the pain was still there. There was no CAT scan or anything to see if anything was pressing on a nerve or anything because I do have deteriorating disc for quite a while now and to me I felt like a migrant I was just being treated and released. They didn’t even care to find out what the problem was or anything. I just felt so uncomfortable and I don’t know. I just felt unwelcome. I got an emergency room at a reasonable time but after being given by Ruben in the emergency room I never saw anybody until one hour after I’ve been put there you didn’t take very much to see that. They apparently asked her AI about it in the AI said no it’s too old. Just give some for pain and send them on his way. I’m 75 years old. I’m a veteran and a waiter widower. I just think I should’ve been treated a lot better than I did
