I must say this facility has been here a while, I remember when I went here and now I'm waiting on my love one to come out from his doctor's appointment today. The staff was wonderful in greeting and taken care of his needs. As I wait I can see their is little bit of wait time and efficiency in getting their patience in and out with care. Would recommend them to anyone love one. Thanks

Terrible office - if you have questions or need someone to call you back - don’t count on it. We left a message with the staff, tried calling back the next day and were surprised when they answered the phone. My husband explained we left a message, we need a new RX for my CPAP so the company doesn’t take it back, there response was “we got your message, we’re in clinic now so we can’t do anything until later”. That was 3 weeks ago and still no call has been returned or RX sent. I encourage my husband and anyone else to find someone else immediately

Zero if I could I moved from Colorado to Georgia Fall of last year for college by myself, knowing nothing about the area and having just been diagnosed with a sleeping disorder at the beginning of that year, sleep doctors were still relatively new to me. Everything said, Southcoast was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any sleep doctor or doctor in general and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this facility as far as sleep doctors go if it was the last option from the list. They are completely unreliable and have no regard for urgencies or concerns. Throughout my time there they had not only messed up a prescription, but also denied any necessary university accommodation in relation to medication changes. To give a little bit of context, I was trying to begin switching over prescriptions to a medication called XYWAV ( I never made any progress with it with their lack of answering and returning phone calls) and if anyone is familiar with xywav, it is a very serious drug that should be taken with the utmost caution. It is so serious that if in the wrong hands could be abused as a daterape drug. Knowing this, I requested that the sleep practitioner, Dr. Bishnoi signed off on an accommodation for a private room/ bath next school year when I was planning on starting the new medication, but was refused and given the reasoning of the medication not being an adequate reason to have those accommodations and that locking it up would be enough. I proceeded to explain to them all of my concerns, that even if I locked it up, we have shared room dorms and without the signature I could still be extremely vulnerable personally and was still refused repeatedly. Even after my accommodations specialist from the university and extremely worried mom having to get involved to try and convince a change in decision, they were still unmoved. I was never approved for it by the doctor (she never even talked to us directly) and continued to have to wait until I could go back to Colorado to my previous sleep practitioners. As soon as I was back, not only have I got the accommodations letter signed and approved by some very disapproving practitioners after hearing what happened and why I hadn’t had it signed by Southcoast, but I have also already gotten the information and proceedings into a medication switch, all of which took less than a week. I say this because in the approximate 8 months I was with Southcoast, I never even got close to the amount of progress and help I have gotten in just a couple days. Lastly, coming from a very personal and recent experience with the XYWAV medication, it is absolutely flooring that Dr. Bishnoi would refuse to sign even a private room accommodation. It is like a complete blackout and blip in time for the time the medication is in the system.
