I recently had a mammogram at the Breast Center connected to Nyack Hospital. The staff was friendly and efficient. I was in and out within one half hour. They made everything easy. My results were available online within a day or two. Follow up from my primary care physician and the Breast Center was prompt. I would highly recommend getting a mammogram there.
I went to Montefiore Nyack Hospital today for an out patient procedure and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived there the front desk employees in Radiology were very efficient. My nurse was very kind and helpful filling me in on how the procedure was going to go. He put my iv in without any pain. The surgeon and CT tech were very concerned that I was comfortable at all times. The procedure was done with very little discomfort and samples they took was plenty to get the information that will be needed by my Dr
My experience was great from the minute I walked through the door. The nurses were so friendly, happy and professional. Anesthesiologist took her time, explained everything and answered all of my questions and concerns. Dr. Simon talked to me prior to the surgery, explained everything and answered my questions. They all made the whole shoulder surgery process so pleasant and easy. Great job keep up the good work!
Excellent care by nurse Deirdre in pre op, my surgeon and my anesthesiologist, (unfortunately her name has escaped me but she protected me from potentially aspirating) bc I was never told to stop a certain meds and she took xtra precautions. She was absolutely amazing. I also received excellent care in the recovery room by my nurse. The only issue is the wait time for surgery was almost 4 hrs (due to an emergency which I understand), but I wish they would’ve kept me more informed. But good experience overall.
This used to be a great hospital. They seemingly have expanded and refinished the physical building, nice, however my child had an emergency that they obviously did not seem serious enough although related to her eye and we’ve been sitting in the hallway with nursing and all kinds of staff just walking by. I was grateful for the blanket given to my daughter by the security guard. #disgusted
