I saw Dr. O on September 30th. He is great. I am supposed to have a sleep study as well as a visit with a psychologist specializing in sleep issues. I am still waiting for the sleep study. The sleep clinic can't even tell me when I will be scheduled. I placed a call to the psychologist and she never returned my call. My husband was diagnosed with sleep apnea in early August while he was in the hospital. He is also still waiting for a sleep study. This is far from "remarkable care" and so unacceptable. Please make another choice if you are considering going here.
If I could give it less than one star I would. I’ve had sleep apnea for 30 years and been through a number of sleep studies and they always put a mask on me so that I could sleep, however, on this sleep study, they weren’t even going to put a mask on me until much later in the morning so meanwhile, I lay there and choke and my heart is racing while trying to sleep, this is NOT proper procedure. You do not let your patient suffer because you don’t want to put a mask on them to prove that they have sleep apnea for insurance purposes! I also had to wait a year to get an appointment. Meanwhile, I’m suffering.
Been waiting months to get in, and appointments get moved, cancelled and they schedule follow ups before testing can be completed. I’ve been waiting 7 months to get an initial appointment for sleep study just for it to be rescheduled and be told provider taking off for 3 weeks to get results. So guess after 9 months maybe I might get answers… IF these appointments are kept. Very disappointing.
It was a very pleasant experience. I only waited 3 minutes before being called back. The staff were all very friendly and polite. Chelsea was so kind and reviewed my chart and answered all my questions with a smile. She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There was NO rushing me in and out like most other doctor offices!
My boyfriend has tried getting an appointment via his referral from his Primary and they refuse to call back. All the other one star reviews are accurate. We're going to try Wilmington Health instead. At least they are known for good communication. I see the basic responses from the feedback line. This is considered feedback. Maybe your PR team should share it and I don't know...maybe improve experiences for patients? Hire competent people, pay them living wages, and treat people with respect. Avoid this office at all costs.
