Real fast service compared with other hospital, staff are diligent in attending everyone at their needs, doctors know what they doing when it comes to a real emergency. Been there multiple times at the end it is a satisfying process. Thank you New York Presbyterian..
The children’s hospital has been the best experience year after year. Nurses who remember your child, friendly staff. If admitted the food is great, they also provide school activities and a teacher. Too many good things to list from 2016-2025. Very appreciative, this is the only hospital my child is comfortable going to.
I delivered a baby on 6/20 while having a C-section performed hospital staff went into my overnight bag and stole my bracelet. It was a gift from my husband. I was told that I was not allowed to wear it in the OR for staff to steal it from my bag during a major operation giving birth. IT was reported to security and patient relations. I would've said It was a really great experience, the nurses, anesthesia team and most of all my OB. My gripes with this facility were an NP who lied about my care and having my bracelet being taken from my bag while having a c section. Ive tried going through the proper channels and my complaints have fallen on deaf ears.
We've been here with my daughter for 4.5 days. The nurses are great however the staff is horrible. I've asked for the social worker to come to our room & she has yet to show up. I've asked for the patient experience to come & nothing. All I get from the Dr's is that they are sorry.. we are short staffed.. I had a much better experience in Cohens. We should've went back there but her GI advised us to come here & she hasn't even checked up on her. Im so disappointed.
Had an amazing experience in the children's same day surgery OR for my 4 year old daughter. From when we went into the room, a Patient Advocate came and gave a lot of toys to my daughter, and the Patient Advocate demonstrated on a teddy bear how they will put on a pulse oximeter on the finger and ECG electrodes on the belly to show and explain what they’re going to do to her. While we were waiting they turned on a show for my daughter to watch special to our personal preference. With a tablet, the Patient Advocate showed my daughter where they were going to take her for the procedure. Everything was very smooth with friendly staff and doctor who made sure everything was taken care of and made us feel as if we were the only patients.
