Capital City Sleep Center, LLC

I went in around 12:30am yesterday with really bad lower left quad abdominal pain, very severe nausea and shivering. They did really good checking me in and getting me taken care of. I had developed more symptoms once I got there since I was moving more than I was that evening. Including vomiting. Turns out I have the flu. The nurse did really good taking care of me and Dr. Chester moved very swiftly in prescribing me my flu anti biotics. My only reason. For the four star is because the rooms were dirty. What looked like dry blood on the floors (not great). Overall, I had a great ER experience.

I knew better but against my better judgement came anyway because it's closet to my house. But I will NEVER and I mean NEVER come back to this Emergency room for ANYTHING! I've been here for 9hrs (and counting) and most of my time here has been because I've been waiting for people to get here! There were only 2 other people waiting to be seen when I got here and I was called to the back pretty quickly based on the urgency of my concern which I thought was a good sign. Only for me to get preliminary tests and then have to wait over 3 hours for a specialist to come for the additional tests needed. Then wait several more hours for another doctor to come in to read the results of the tests they've run. It's beyond ridiculous! I know emergency room visits are never ideal but this is by far the worst experience I've ever had! Where are the staff? Why am I spending HOURS waiting for people to get here for the service I need? It's unacceptable smh. The only good thing is the staff was friendly.

It’s no way this is an emergency room, this is where they put their patients at. Everybody is so rude and unprofessional and have a really bad attitude how could this be the closest hospital in dc and this is how they care about their patients. They don’t care if you’re pregnant or NOT! I WOULD NEVER COME BACK TO THIS HOSPITAL IT!!!! IT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN ASAP!!!!!! Even the restrooms they have for patients is DIRTY!!!! THIS IS BEHIND SAD!!

I cannot thank the ICU nurses enough, they brought my brother in law back to life! He was on a ventilator for 2 weeks fighting for his life and they were so diligent with his care. He is nothing short of a miracle. The hospital is extremely underfunded but the nurses are the glue that keeps this hospital running. They deserve so much. I hope the hospital and city knows that and focuses on improving its facilities.

The worst experience I have ever had in a hospital. The people working the ER called security to force people out fur to them being upset for sitting here for hours. From injuries to Covid there was no compassion for anyone here. The staff behind the glass laughing while people are yelling in pain. Security is three deep trying to intimidated patients. The RN is walking around telling people it will be another 3 to four hours before being seen and most including me have been her for 3 or more hours already. Then they all go to the back as you say they are mad at us for being here. Enough is enough DO NOT COME TO THIS ER FOR AM REASON.
