I just got home from getting an ablation. Dr Michael Loguidice and Ar. Heart hospital was fabulous. They were joyful focused confident professional and everything positive. The facility is clean. They took the stress out of the procedure. I highly recommend!!!
My experience at Arkansas Heart Hospital was excellent from registration throughout the testing process to discharge. I felt safe and confident in the care provided. Thank you for all you do to make patient care and experience great!
They did two catherizations on me instead of one to put a stent in. You never know if youre going to Bryant, Shackleford or Shackleford west. On my stent I was told to be here at 10 am. Its 1:00 and I'm "next in line". Whenever that is. Whatever they set your appointment at just show up a couple hours late and you'll be good. I would not reccomend this hospital. Still waiting.....
They always change the appointment time and Hospital. It set for Little Rock, then change appt to Bryant, driving from Russellville. You arrive at set time and wait four hours before procedure. Then after that you have to contact them for a followup vist which takes another week or two for them to call you. Or go onto portal which also takes a two weeks. For the heart to be so important you could have a stroke or heart attack before your appointment time arrives.
My father-in-law was told in the afternoon that he was checked in and would be put in a room soon. He called a few minutes ago, around midnight, and demanded I pick him. No room, no food or water for hours. I called the ER nurse's station and told them what I had heard and I was told all he needs to do is ask. No water for 4.5 hours - because he did not ask. Unbelievable. Their website describes something far different than the reality. "Arkansas Heart Hospital recognizes the unique needs of heart patients. In addition to your medical needs, your comfort and the comfort of your family and friends are the most important objectives we have." The only thing I personally observed done for any one's comfort, was when a nurse turned off the alarms on my father-in-law's monitors because they were bothersome. Very disappointed.
