These people need to be checked and removed I brought my son into the hospital because he was sick they gave my son x-ray and told me it looked fine but they wanted to see it on a bigger screen I was waiting there for 4 hours and they didn’t even want to check my 3 year old son fever after waiting so long they took it after 3 hours. when he first got in it was reading 101 I waited 3 in a half hours and was telling them to check my son fever they said give them a little. Time went by and I said listen my son is hot and yall not even taking his temperature and than yall tell me he has something viral but not tryin to tell me what exactly he has. They told me that they can’t run any specific tests because he has to be admitted I told them we are clearly admitted because we have been here more than 4 hours. On top of that the nurse didn’t even get my son blood pressure together she took his blood pressure back to back in the same arm I told her you need to switch to a different arm because she did the same arm twice. She than moved to his leg and she kept saying the blood pressure machine was inaccurate its was reading 160/107 158/104 154/107 and I told her to take the blood pressure manually she than came back to take it and than said “I got 90/78” I left because they were clearly playing in my son face not only is she taking the blood pressure Manually but I could also see the blood pressure and that was not his readings at all I asked her if I could do it but she ignore me she didn’t even know I’m a MA and I know how to read a blood pressure. On top of that I ended up taking my son to an urgent care and guess what he tested positive for RSV‼️ This hospital don’t need people working there that don’t know what they are doing at all and since when can’t my son be tested for something if he’s not admitted? If I give these people a 0 star I definitely would.

They made me (and his mom) sit out in the waiting room for hours while the love of my life was dying inside. They gave up on saving him from the moment he arrived, so I will never understand why we weren’t allowed to be with him until he was on his last heartbeat when they were NOT intervening other than to ask for his advanced directives to be changed from full code. The nurse was very kind after he passed, but the doctor was dismissive and rude, and didn’t seem to understand that there was a real person who was extremely loved laying in that bed. When I asked why no interventions were initiated, she stated "We don't have interventional pulmonology here. And I am pretty sure he was dying before he got here."

This place treats patients like crap , stay away !!!!!!!!!! This review is not fake I'm not a bot I'm filing a complaint with the CT department of health they have violated federal laws and there have been violations of EMTALA , your doctors suck and I wouldn't not give them a veterinary doctors license let alone one to treat people. Anybody reading this if you want to be heard CT DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH file a complaint . I will definitely be filing a complaint and probably also contacting a news station to see if maybe they can do a story , they are always looking for stories , stay away UConn in Farmington much better and they treat there patients with dignity and respect, Not like these doctors at the Hospital of Central CT they treat you like an animal and actually people treat their animals at home better Thank you

Review for Evita, Medical Assistant I recently had to undergo a procedure for an extremely painful ingrown toenail, and I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through it without the incredible support of Evita, the medical assistant. From the moment I walked into the room, she had this calming, compassionate presence that immediately made me feel more at ease, even though I was dreading the pain. Evita didn’t just go through the motions—she genuinely cared. She never made me feel like a burden or an inconvenience, even when I was clearly anxious and uncomfortable. Her kindness and calm demeanor were exactly what I needed in that moment. She kept checking on me, spoke to me with such empathy, and maintained a positive energy throughout the entire procedure. What stood out even more was how she went above and beyond by helping distract my baby, who was starting to get fussy while the podiatrist worked on my foot. As a mom, that kind of help meant the world to me. It’s not easy to manage pain and a little one at the same time, but Evita made it feel manageable. She was an absolute light in a tough moment. Also have to add that the podiatrist Sajjid was very knowledgeable and informed me on what to expect from the very beginning. I would recommend Sajjid to anyone looking for a good Podiatrist. She is a sweetheart and actually shows true passion for her career.

I want to thank ER Assistant Dana for going above and beyond during my visit. I was in so much pain, and without me even having to ask, she noticed exactly what I needed and stepped in to help. That kind of attentiveness and compassion in such a vulnerable moment truly meant a lot to me. Her initiative and care made a difficult experience a little easier, and I’m deeply grateful.
