My wife was an inpatient at this hospital. She was discharged with the same condition she was admitted with. After holding for over an hour the phone at Atrium nurse line, your system, ended the call. I contacted KM hospital and was transferred to their Emergency department. At least I got an answer. Told the lady what had happened and was hoping for advice. She said that she couldn’t help. I am so fed up with all of Atrium health. They claim to care but they really don’t care about anything but the money. Perhaps if she gets able enough to travel to Charlotte or Ashville she might get better care at a different health care system. It is totally impossible, in my opinion, to get worse care anywhere else. Randy L.
We ended up in the ER with our son this evening. From the moment we walked in we were given the best care. The nurses and doctor were phenomenal with my son. 10/10 recommend!!!
I am writing to express serious concerns about the behavior of a nurse in the rehab department at Atrium Health Kings Mountain. I do not know her name, but she wears a burgundy uniform and was working during my son’s recent visit. Her attitude toward patients was extremely rude and dismissive. She spoke to patients in a sarcastic manner, showed little to no patience, and created an environment that felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Patients who are seeking help and treatment deserve compassion, respect, and professionalism, but her behavior had the opposite effect. Her actions made the experience more stressful for my son, to the point that he does not want to return to continue his treatment. This is very concerning, as it directly impacts his ability to get the care he needs. I hope this matter can be addressed promptly, as all patients deserve to feel safe, respected, and supported while receiving medical care.
Took my 9 year old son for a broken collar bone. We took him immediately after he had broke it and notified the staff he hadn't been giving anything for the pain after leaving him in the waiting area for 2 hours with just 4 people in the ER waiting he was finally called back. The doctor came in felt around said oh yea that's broke but we'll get him some X-rays and something for the pain they come back take him in for his X-ray still no medicine then bring him back and leave him setting in the room in pain for another hour while they joked and played in the hall. The nurse comes in and puts a sling on him without anything medicines and him screaming bloody murder and balling his eyes out... I wouldn't recommend taking anyone here this place need to have there doors sealed and everyone needs there jobs taking without a chance to treat anyone again
Soooo I’m not sure about any severe illness or the ER visits. BUT my 4 year old daughter had to come here for a dental procedure, and the care that she was given was out of this world. Every single person who was involved in this visit were sensational. I wish I had all their names, but the charge nurse, the anesthesiologist, the dental surgeon, there was another really sweet man. Every single person made this scary event, so magical. They took care of my needs as a scared mom, as well as my 4 year old daughters needs. She had NO CLUE. What was happening and still doesn’t, she thinks she’s Rapunzel the princess, that woke up from a nap with cool silver princess teeth. THANK YOU ALL
