Very impressed about how they handled a very busy packed emergency room. There could not have been enough beds for all of the sick people but, regardless, all were treated. We all had to sit in the lobbies with I v drips and as much as I'd like to have had a bed it would have been a waste if others needed it more than me. I just needed a particular treatment and to be monitored and others too. One person and two children hat came from a fire and I did think she needed a room with her 2 children before anyone else and she got her room within an hour but was stable and treated. It could not be helped. I was treated better and more respect and dignity than any hospitals that were not busy, I WAS NOT PUT IN AROOM AND IGNORED. one lady was in pain and a nurse came out and held her hand and tried to comfort her while administering a pain med. I was there 6 hours but triage was immediate and 1st treatment was within the first hour. I'd say Excellent.
Our experiences at Houston Methodist Hospital,Baytown, have been exceptional. ER Admission was fast and smooth. The Admission Staff focused on medical concerns which were addressed promptly and professionally. My husband was admitted to Houston Methodist Baytown, July 10th and October 12th of 2025 In July, when hospitalized, for Sepsis, periodic bloodwork was analyzed round the clock, which determined, quickly, that the infection was not responding to the antibiotic. Doctor Sarah Al Ghanim, MD, who closely followed the lab results, ordered a new antibiotic which did work, undoubtedly saving my husband’s life. I found myself overwhelmed by the warmth, empathy and individualized care, which the doctors, nurses, therapists, case workers, and dietary staff provided, at Houston Methodist at Baytown. I am absolutely certain no finer care is possible than what my husband received while at Baytown’s Houston Methodist Hospital. Frances Ruxton Oster
Huge shoutout to the amazing nurses and staff at Methodist Baytown — y’all took such great care of my family, and I’m beyond grateful. Big thanks to the doctors and case managers too for pointing us to ClearSky Health Rehab when it was time for discharge. We’ve only been here a few days, and my mom is already up and walking! It’s been incredible. The best part? We still have the same doctors from Methodist here at ClearSky, which has made the whole transition so much smoother. Seriously — thank you, thank you, thank you!
My baby's first (and hopefully last) trip to the ER was via ambulance due to severe egg allergy and even though it was the most terrifying thing I've ever been through, all the EMTs, nurses, doctor were so competent, calm, and nice. They were amazing at making me feel like everything will be okay and keeping me informed and calm. I have no doubt he got the best care possible. I've learned that being reasonable person allows the health care team to do their job most effectively and give you and your family the best results possible. I have nothing but love and respect for all the first responders doctors and other health care providers that saved my son’s life. Thank you so much to Dr. Apfel, nurse Josselin, nurse Daisy and nurse Morgan for taking care of my baby. You are all amazing!
My gallbladder pain ended up being a Month long hospital stay. I went in for pain and was admitted, the team on my case was great and they did what they could. I ended up needing surgery. Spent a whole night sick to my stomach and vomiting every 2 min for a total of 24 hours. Nurses reached out to the Drs but they didn’t want to give me anything cause I was scheduled for surgery. Ended up making it to surgery. Never met my surgeon nor did they come check on me. Ended up with complications and infections. And to this day still don’t exactly know what happened to me. That being said, My nurses, house keeping, and Chaplin, and some of the drs were amazing and they really did take care of me and made me feel valued and cared for. I’m forever thankful for them and I will never forget those kind souls who cared for me when I was violently ill.
