This is NOT the place if you're looking for a healthcare provider that cares about its patients,. My journey here was a frustrating saga of delays and administrative hurdles. After a six-month wait for my first appointment unfortunately, I was NOT 15 minutes early, which apparently is a requirement! I told them that they should have made my appointment time 15 minutes earlier! BTW - I was in the building, I just couldn't find the right desk and went to the wrong place. And I was refused service despite having completed pre-visit paperwork. While a second appointment was quickly available (without the previous early arrival requirement), my actual consultation lasted under 10 minutes. The sleep study referral required a 3 month wait! The hospital checked my insurance the day before the study! The insurance company required an in-home study - NOT available for another six weeks! This meant my care was pushed into a new calendar year! This would have required 2 deductibles! The complete disregard for my time, the burdensome and inconsiderate policies, and the financial burden imposed by their inefficient system were incredibly disturbing for a 'Christian' organization who claims to care about it's patients.
The experience was fine until one of the employees named Matthew howled in the hallway near my room and woke me up! He had a deep voice and anyone could hear him talking as my room was next to the monitor room. I contacted the supervisor with this complaint. She defended Matthew and spoke about how sweet he was etc. with complete disregard.
This place is the most unresponsive, uncaring medical facility I’ve had the displeasure to interact with. I’d switch immediately, but I’ve managed to get far enough to maybe just get the CPAP I need. Maybe. Unless you have no other options, don’t trust these folks with your care. “Mercy” is almost funny.
I just recently had two sleep tests and it by far exceed my expectations! Kaylee, Terrie and David made me more very comfortable my two days there! They were very professional, friendly and even fun! I was very anxious and they helped ease my anxiety! Thank you Kaylee, Terrie, and David! Some of the best at mercy!
Our sleep tech was Phil and he was nothing but extraordinary! He was so good with my son who was the patient. He took the time to make sure he was comfortable and listened to all of my sons hundreds of stories! Highly recommend him!
