Dr. Wierdsma and Dr. Visitacion in the ER, both are excellent. Found an emerging appendicitis, that was presenting with only pain. and referred me for gen surgery with Dr. Iverson. Excellent care from front desk to post op care.

I’ve had the misfortune to need emergency care for three different issues over the past few years. Each time, a different physician treated me. Each time, they were spot on and did a fantastic job of caring for me. Superb support from everyone! The facility is very clean, with most of the staff very invested in the patients’ wellbeing. I feel safe here in Salida because of HRRMC. Thanks again, Bill

I truly apologize if I was the cause to maybe getting a Dr fired or a patient not treated... Saw them multiple times for my broken jaw. They didn't help me. Today I called to got back because of a complication from the broken jaw and infection! They literally canceled my appointment. And they said sorry we don't do jaw injurys! So I guess I'm that reason. They messed "want to say another word" up with my diagnosis. So the 3 or 4 times I went there must of been a money grab Shame on you people! Saw me for my broken jaw then tell me you don't treat jaw fractures why was my time and my health for money? I'd highly NOT recommend this hospital!

There are no words to describe how dehumanizing, incompetent, judgmental and inept this ER facility is. I went to HRRMC ER two nights in a row, with what we now know was a life threatening spinal abscess from T1-T8. Victor Adan was the ER doc that “treated” me. He immediately brushed me off as a drug addict, and asserted that he would not be giving me any pain medication. He spent a total of 4 minutes with me, after waiting WELL over 4 hours to be seen. My symptoms significantly worsened, and returned to the ER the next day hoping and praying to get a different doc. Nope, same inept doc, same inhumane treatment. He wrote in my medical records that I was a drug addict, declared he didn’t believe I was in as much pain as I was ‘pretending’ to be experiencing. He wholly dismissed me, and quickly discharged me. Thank GOD my parents rushed me to a competent ER in Pueblo, where they ran imaging and told me I would not survive the night unless they performed an immediate spinal surgery to remove the spinal abscess. This place (HRRMC) will literally kill you. The arrogance of these ER doctors is palpable, and dangerous. Avoid this place at ALL costs - because you will pay for it with your life.

I keep getting bills from them from a single office visit. I have given them hundreds of dollars and then I get another bill. It has been well over six months since I have even seen a physician in Colorado. Why do you keep billing me after I’ve already given you so much money? It doesn’t make any freaking sense. Judging by your low star rating, though I can see why.
