They scheduled my appointment without prior authorization from insurance. When I called asking about an appointment and referral they told me they could see the referral so I scheduled an appointment. I waited 4 months for the appointment. When I arrived they said there was no referral. This should be run and checked on prior to patient arrival. Poor operations and patient communication. I will be finding a different sleep clinic.
This review is for the sleep study clinic. The person assigned to me left me in the room for quite a while. I took the medicine the aprn had told me to bring with me to sleep for the study and started wondering when someone would be back for the study part. I had been told to let her know if I needed anything. I looked around outside of my room and there didn’t appear to be any kind of office or place to ask a question. I looked around the bed for a call button or whatever to ask a question. There wasn’t a button. I found a call switch in the bathroom so I decided to pull that and still got no response. I finally found someone in the hallway who sent someone back for the study. She told me she watches her son during the day so she doesn’t sleep much and she was wearing some sort of fragrance. I ended up taking a second round of medication to go to sleep after the first started wearing off during that process. Oh, and when I told her I was trying to figure out how to let her know I needed something she said I was supposed to just start talking and the cameras would let her know. Would’ve been nice to know that. The bedding had stains on it. I paid over $1200 dollars out of pocket for that experience.
My experience was great at the Hickingbotham Outpatient Center Sleep Study. My technologist Mrs. Bailey was awesome. The Sleep Lab was clean and relaxing. Thank you again for a great stay.

Horrible patient care. My CPAP motor stopped working. I called BSC asking them to send an order for a new machine twice over 2 days. They still haven’t contacted my respiratory company. I quess they want me to die in my sleep when I stop breathing tonight
