Update: after my initial review a rep from the office called to try and make things right. However the office still have not sent the requested documents. They still don't answer the phone or return calls. My advice would be to go anywhere else. This office used to be attentive but now they never answer their phones or call you back. I've had to walk in to their office to talk to someone about getting a new script and they still messed up the request. I'll apparently have to look for a new doctor.
Incredibly kind, incredibly thorough from top to bottom. First time in decades I’ve had someone look into my asthma so extensively. Very pleasant experience.
Always has an excuse of why my supplies are late or sent wrong items, tries to over charge me. My supplies are 100% covered through my insurance but they still try and send me a bill every month, so I gotta call them and explain to them every month that my supplies are covered 100% through my insurance. They have no idea what they are doing when it comes to billing. Update, After they read the review they decided to drop me. They actually gave all my information to another supplier without my permission. I already had a supplier lined up, They didn't have the right to give my information out without my permission. These people are very inexperienced and Doctor Jane let's them get away with it. I tried reaching out to him but he doesn't return his calls.
This is mainly directed towards their DME office. The staff is nice and it seemed in the beginning that they knew what they were talking about. However, after being in business with them for almost a year, their Durable Medical Equipment office where they have their CPAP machines and supplies has to be the most disorganized, non attentive office i have experienced. Their billing is extremely difficult to understand, the shipments I get are always late and sometimes have the wrong supplies. That’s if I even get the shipments I order at all. They never answer the phone when you call (even when a message is left, they never return calls) , and their hours recently changed without my knowledge to only 4 days a week. For a medical place, they sure don’t seem to care for their customers when people “need this to avoid future health issues”. I get that they may have a lot going on so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I would not recommend their DME office when it comes to your supplies. Very disappointing and frustrating.
I’ve had insomnia for a few years. I went to my primary doctor about it. They first prescribed trazadone which didn’t work but I tried it for about a year. Then we recently went to doxepin which seemingly had even less of an effect on me. I’ve been so frustrated and stressed out with this over the years. I never feel rested. When I do fall asleep I wake up constantly. I do have sleep apnea so it is a large factor on why I struggle to stay asleep. It has little impact on falling asleep though. This sleep issue is a major concern of mine and I stress about it all day. I dint have health insurance so I can’t just go to multiple doctors. I can’t financially do that. So I saw this doctor had good reviews and I decided to get an appointment. They charged me 100 dollars before I even had the appointment. That should’ve tipped me off as to What was about to receive because no one would pay for it. I was weighed and my bp was taken, the nurse doing that was great and very likable. Finally the doctor comes in. I’m thinking finally I’ll be given something that will help me sleep! Tonight won’t be like they’ve been and I’ll be well rested for work! These are the thoughts on my mind. I’m filled with optimism. He asks me a few questions ,the looks at my previous charts from the hospital sleep study. Then he proceeds to give me his tips on how to sleep. He first tells me insomnia is just a pattern and you can just break it like a habit. He tolls me I need to figure out what was stressing me at the time my insomnia began and I need to forget about it. He says I need to not struggle about and stress about finances. I told him I don’t and That I don’t stress about anything except if I’m going to get enough sleep for work. He says okay then tell me I need to exercise. I spend 2 hours a day at the gym. Five days a week. He basically gave me nothing but a bunch of nonsense that you or I can read online for free. I got up abs walked out. I was si frustrated and upset with the fact that I just got charged 100 dollars to hear some silly advice and that I’m. No closer to getting 8 hours of sleep a night. I advise you either go elsewhere or you simply do a google search and you’ll receive his treatment for free. But, at least I got my weight measured and I got my blood pressure done
