I was worried about this test. But my tech made me feel so relaxed. She was funny and very professional!! Put me at ease. It seemed like alot of wires, but I was able to sleep like normal and they didn't bother me much at all. Thank you all so much
Recommend getting your sleep test done elsewhere. The actual sleep study was fine with a decent facility and nice nurse to run the test. The problem is that they apparently take up to 8 weeks to send the test result to you doctor. That is 2 months or 1/6th of a year which is completely unreasonable. I recommend that you go somewhere that can provide you with test results within a reasonable timeframe.
The guy that did my sleep study was great. He showed me some tricks for when I get my own CPAP set up. They explained everything in detail and made me feel comfortable.
Person at the front desk is useless. It's been 2 months since my initial consultation. I called a month in asking for an update but no answer so I left a message. Still nothing an additional month later, so I show up in person. She's yapping on the phone with someone else about her holiday plans. She simply says she doesn't have any update about the referral and tells me to call the doctor (also through Franciscan) or my insurance. How about you pick up the phone and do your job?
