On Friday, my husband, who was working in the area, called me at 11:52AM and said he thinks he was having was a heart attack (luckily he wasn’t on the job site). He looked up closest hospital near him and drove his self there. He found the nearest door he could walk in and a nurse found him in the hallway. I was on the phone listening; he told her he thought he was having a heart attack and they jumped into motion, calling for assistance as he didn’t even enter through the emergency doors. At 12:07PM he had his first EKG were in fact he was having a heart attack! I’m not sure of the ladies name or the nurses name that assisted, but we are forever grateful for your kindness, attention, and help! The ER doctor on calls name was Chip, I’m so grateful for his communion and working in my husband to save his life!!! They had to get life flight from Lubbock and transport him to Abilene, TX where he was cared for and his life was saved!!!! Thank you so much for all the team did…..I can never repay the gratitude our family will have for you all❤️❤️
Again hospital is a joke. Had to call for an ambulance to take to the emergency room. Attending Dr was in blue jeans and a hoody kept my dad for 2 nights for observation. The whole time the Dr or hospital did not contact his primary cardiologist. Which he was admitted for heart issues. This hospital should be shut down. Close to talking to a lawyer.
Dr Brandon is the best 👌 He doesn't roll his eyes when I come in for panic attacks (I know it must get annoying) Instead he talks me through it He is very caring and supportive with his patients and is judge free unlike the other nurses Give this man a raise 🗣
Mitchell County Hospital has provided me with an outstanding learning environment and student experience. The doctors, nurses, and staff are phenomenal and I was able to learn something from virtually everyone I came in contact with. This staff cares deeply about their patients and their health outcomes. I am so grateful to this hospital for hosting me and helping shape my practice as a future provider. Although I was not a patient, I can say with confidence that I would trust this hospital with my own care or the care of my family members. Thank you all for your hard work through an unprecedented year and thank you for taking on another challenge- a student learner- when you are already busy with the current healthcare climate.
My husband and I were involved in a road accident on the 20, and the EMS’s took us to the ER at Mitchell county. We could not have asked for better treatment everyone was wonderful, From the sheriffs department to the EMS team To the Doctors and nurses. They made a stressful experience less stressful.
