Both the ER and inpatient staff have been amazing with my 90 year old mother. She had a quadruple whammy with COVID, Flu A, pneumonia and a slight heart attack, on top of her baseline dementia and limited vision. They have treated her respectfully, have been quick to address every need, and have given me the peace of mind knowing she is in safe care. She will stay for another week of physical and occupational therapy. No one ever hopes for a hospital stay, but if I ever need one, I would come here first.

My experience here was good, so I thought. Cut my knee pretty bad at the river and came here since it was closest. Dr stitched me right up and sent me on my way. Without any antibiotics given. Next day, high fever and back to the ER. Turns out it was infected and possibly developing necrotizing fasciitis. Had to be transferred to another hospital and went through hell. So if anything happens and you’re out that way, don’t go here just because it’s the closest option, you’ll be dealing with it for a while after.

In 2022 I came down with pneumonia my son talked me into coming to Barnes St Peters. All they did was stabilize me pushed me out the door. They didn't like Humana. The next morning I was rushed to Iron County Memorial hospital they kept me in the hospital till all symptoms were gone and I was well. Believe it or not a week later I was bitten by a Texas Lonestar tick. It transfer Lyme disease to me. I was taken to same hospital. They were puzzled by what I had until I said I was bitten by a tick. The emergency room personal said we don't have any way to treat it. I was first one who came in with it. They contacted Parkland hospital in Farmington when I arrived all was set for me in the emergency room. I was linked to a doctor by video computer and noppppppppoo0000000

Me and my son were at iron county Monday night and was in the er waiting for 6 hours. The doctor was completely unprofessional and also had forgot to send my sons orders in the computer. I had to ask for certain tests to be ran which included an RSV test. Then he told me my son didn't have ear infections when in fact the next day I took him to his pediatrician and was told he had horrible ear infections in both ears with pus. The doctor was all over the place, shakey hands, trying to joke around after I had already been in the ER for HOURS with a sick child. It got to the point that I told them they had 10 minutes or I was just going to leave without being discharged and go somewhere else. They also didn't catch the fact that he had bronchitis as well. I talked to several others that night with similar experiences and medical issues that he misdiagnosed or didn't diagnose at all. Im giving them a 2 because the nurses were very good and accommodating. I will never trust that doctor again. Terrible experience.

While vacationing last week at Black River Lodge, my ankles and wrists became very painful to the point I could barely walk or move them. I went to Iron County Medical Center ER, and they were AMAZING! From checking in to meeting with the doctor. Dr. Jeffrey Teeter was incredible and super nice and funny. He took great care of me and I appreciate him very much!
