Awful experience! On 12/22 the front-desk receptionist was audibly sick and should not have been working; by coming into the office while she's ill and handling patient paperwork, she's endangering others. In addition, Dr. Oktai Mamedov was rude and condescending all throughout my visit, trying to convince me to have another study done after my previous two sleep studies already showed that I do NOT have sleep apnea. It was utterly nonsensical, and I get the distinct impression that they mainly exist to make money off of insurance. Don't bother going there if it can be avoided!

I went in for a sleep study after getting referred by my doctor due to night terrors, poor sleep, EDS, etc, and while the staff was nice and the room comfortable, all they wanted to do was push a sleep apnea machine on me. I didn’t feel that was right, especially after the doctor I saw couldn’t explain how a c-pap would improve my sleep or nightmares. I decided to get a second opinion and after almost a year of working with a different sleep specialist I’m now diagnosed with narcolepsy

I can't say worse things about the treatment I have received from Comprehensive Sleep Center. I am writing this just after paying a 50 dollar bill for a 15 minute telehealth session that did nothing just like all of the other visits and machines have done. One year after starting this journey, I am no better. Nothing worked during the sleep study, nothing worked during the titration study, and yet they move forward with treatment. Nobody helps from the sleep center and they do not seem like professionals in the field. No one monitors my machine, they merely look at the data during the 15 minute follow up visits and adjust the pressure. They never have answers for issues with masks or prior machine settings not working. None calls the supply center if I need new masks or supplies. If I never call, I would never hear from them. Its terrible. Its the most expensive and non-helpful treatment in the entire healthcare system. Trust me when I say this: you are better off buying a machine on craigslist or Facebook Market place and figuring out the settings on your own (which you can do, by the way).

Good day Dr. Mamedov, I had an appointment today July 19, 2025 at your office in East Lansing, Michigan with Kyrsten and wanted to comment the excellent job she is doing and helping me with my CPAP. She has changed my machine and settings and with a full mask in my ATI‘s are less than five every night for the past 3 months. I’m feeling a lot better and make sure you tell her how good of a job she’s doing she’s friendly, professional, and patient also Kyrsten’s MA Samantha is very professional friendly and it makes the visit very nice, calm and professional. They both do an excellent job and I just wanted to let you know that you have two great physician assistant and medical assistant also both of the ladies up at the front desk are very friendly and professional. It makes coming into your office a pleasure. Thanks again, Scott Eavey.

Billing was confusing. I never saw an actual doctor. And according to billing 'the doctor' has 30,000 patients, that's unethical imo.... Despite getting diagnosed I can't buy a CPAP unless it's from their affiliated supplier? Sleep solutions inc. They put in 'orders' without giving you a price you'll pay. I'd love to be able to buy a CPAP but that's not even possible apparently...why can't I get my prescription ? Why do I need an order? I don't have insurance currently, your office knows this!!!, I want to buy it out of pocket. Give me my prescription not an order. This place is an absolute scam!
