My experience during my 3 day stay was positive. The staff is friendly and professional. They work together to make a positive working environment. I will definitely be recommending ARCM for any medical needs.

To be treated so horribly is beyond words. This hospital is covering up for their worker, unless they just actually have no clue whom they have working for them. A female came busting through my daughter's room door after surgery as I was walking her into the bathroom, Shakey and all and accused me, my grandson and his fiance of smoking in the room saying it's going down the hall. We told her no one is smoking in this room and she continues to yell at us. Ummm excuse me, I don't know who you think you are but you're lucky I was helping my daughter in the bathroom. Not one apology and they have no clue who she is, the hospital says. Which now concerns me even more, if they have no clue who's working on their floor, how are they doing business?

10/29/2025 8pm Went in to ER with severe shortness and heart palpitations. No one listened to my lungs or heart. 2 nurses asked about my medications but when they heard that I had "alot", they decided that they did not need to document them. The doctor never asked for my medical history or listened to my heart or lungs. I was told my labs are fine, my chest xray is fine, my EKG is fine, my CT of the head is fine, given meds to lower my blood pressure and discharged. I still had severe shortness of breath, almost fell 2x while leaving due to dizziness. I felt the same as when I went in. This is wrong on so many levels that it crosses a line. In response to your reply about calling your ombusman: I'll have my attorney call your ombudsman.

To long of a wait Staff disrespectful Security are good people Hippa violations Took my husband for a possible broken wrist /hand for our washer falling on him thankfully not his chest was ordered an x-ray and that was still 3-4 hour wait on top of the 3 hours before u get it back also. Absolutely ridiculous might as well start going to UH since they are better patient care! Not happy definitely unacceptable 😤 😒

Good morning, I drive people to medical appointments to over 25 facilities in the NE Ohio area. Ashtabula County Medical Center is rated one of the lowest patient care and patient services facilities,I believe. Looking at doctors available in the area to parking and computer communications with other facilities and even within their own facility. They are going thru a major build and ad on and up grades in many places thru out the facility. Parking for patients is horrible. Now they are offering free valet parking. I was told to boost patient usage of the facility. Bathroom up grades that are not upgrades for patient well-being. You still have to touch everything,no non touch controls. If you go to Lowes, they have that stuff,Ashtabula County Medical Center is not concerned in patient safety or care in my book . Even rest areas in the State of Ohio have no touch facilities?
